Camborne Restaurants

Loved absolutely everything about this restaurant !! We went for my husbands Birthday - only arrived in Cornwall today (had booked months ago) From the greeting when we arrived, to the table service, the beautiful staff and wow - the food - absolutely delicious!!!! The entree of sweet sticky sausages, padron peppers and Korean wings were unbelievably good, delicious pizzas for main and the doughnuts and sticky toffee for dessert - couldn’t fault any of it!!!

We had the lobster and the seafood linguine, both were amazing! Took no more than 15 mins from ordering before food was at the table, super speedy, all cooked to perfection. I know a lot of people moan about the service charge, but I asked the waiter if they preferred to get tip or service charge, they explained that it’s better as service charge as they do get a cut from that but the difference is, that it counts towards their wage, so if they go for a mortgage it helps them. Service was good, and would definitely come again.

The dessert on the set menu is especially good - Ice cream with espresso

CAST Cafe has become a MUST visit place to breakfast, lunch or have a dinner (Saturdays only just now). Why? because Ben Coombs cooking is sublime and Kara as host is exquisitely welcoming. are we fans, yes. If you are local to West Cornwall, this is a weekly joy.
