The food wasn’t great at all, but my server was good..I ordered the chicken and waffles and that spicy syrup or whatever it is needs to be cancelled because it was NASTY.
This was our first time at Corner Cafe. The ability to make reservations made this experience a great one. We were seated promptly, and the service was excellent. The food was great too!
This place is convenient and lively and we like priority seating. Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed in our recent visit. The service staff was very friendly but service was very slow and egg dishes were downright cool by the time they got to us. There was a side of green beans and it was so cool that the butter had congealed into an unappetizing milky white film. We also had to wait several times for refills of coffee and water.
Maybe they had an off day, but it was REALLY off.
Excellent food, great service and really enjoyed all aspects of the breakfast. Will defiantly be back while in Buckhead.
Had a reservation for 2 at 2pm didn’t get seated til 2:30. To find out they were all sold out of basically half the menu. So ended up leaving.
The quality of the food was the best part of our experience. The noise level was a little loud for my liking. Moreover, I expected a little bit more space between the tables since we are still in a pandemic. By far the worse part of the experience was the wait. While I understood we only had “priority seating” versus a reservation, it honestly felt like there was nothing priority about it. We arrived 15 mins before our times slot and still waited 30 minutes when there was a 20 minute wait when we arrived.
Also, it should be noted that this location ONLY accepts debit/credit cards.
We were not seated at our reservation time of 12:30. We actually had to wait an extra hour to be seated. It was Valentine’s Day and we were looking forward to a couples brunch. However by the time we were seated most of the menu items had ran out and we were not able to order most of the selections. By this time we had already ordered drinks. The waitress attempted to get us to order other items and to substitute ingredients but the options were slim. We decided to leave and go to another restaurant but before we left the manager/owner came to the table and comped our beverages for the inconvenience. This small feature went a long way and for this, I would attempt to return for brunch in the future- maybe on a less busy day.
I took my girlfriend here for a Valentine's Day brunch and we LOVED it! We had never been here before and we were very impressed. I made a reservation for Priority Seating and we didn't have to wait too long after checking in with the hostess (We waited about 20 minutes in total, but we arrived 10 minutes before our reservation time). The staff was very polite and friendly, our waiter was attentive and exceeded my expectations. We had several managers check in on our meal and we felt very well taken care of.
The food was AMAZING! I had Chicken and Waffles and each bite was heaven on a fork. The coffee was also some of the best I've ever had. I'm rarely impressed with the coffee and restaurants, but the coffee here blew me away, I couldn't drink enough!
Overall we had a great experience and we will definitely be coming back here again!
Very nice!! food was fresh & delicious 😋🥰
Business breakfast, service was fast and nice. Food was delicious.
Wanted to take a date to brunch. Being seated next to the cold door that kept opening automatically was the only downside. Everything else was great!
This priority seating saved me a huge wait time for brunch around noon.
This is our go-to brunch spot on the weekends. And during Covid 19, we feel comfortable dining inside, as it was too cold to eat on the patio. There's a great menu of breakfast items -- all kinds of eggs, french toast, avocado toast -- as well as lunch items like paninis and salads. We like to sit in the small area next to the bakery, as my husband has difficulty hearing, but there were no tables available. The hostess was aware of our situation and offered to have us wait briefly until one of those tables came available. We were hungry, so we chose to sit in the large area, and she seated us as far from a larger, noisy table as she could. Like most of Buckhead Life's restaurants, this one has plentiful portions of tasty food.
Came for brunch with my mother in-law and husband. Pretty good food.
Great service and a nice place to meet friends for breakfast.
Thank you for your feedback and for sharing Corner Cafe with your friends!
Loved the free mini muffin appetizers, which were promptly refreshed when the food was a little late. The service was excellent, and our brunch of chicken and waffles and an egg-white omelette were tasty. We’ll definitely return.
I apologize that the food took longer than expected, thank you for taking the time to review your experience. We hope to see you again soon and deliver the same exceptional food and service in a timely manner.
We like the atmosphere and vibe. Always good food.
We love a good celebration! Thank you for letting us be a part of it.
Great food and location....
Waitress was not the best she simply did not listen and made me feel bad for needing more sugar for my tea. and wanting a Bloody Mary without alcohol.
Awesome ...best place for breakfast in ATL
Solid place to meet friends and have an excellent breakfast with great service. Always a good choice.
Love this place
Thank you for your business!
The food is always good
My husband and I went to Sunday brunch and was pleasantly surprised! We were a bit concerned about how they would handle the social distancing, etc. and was glad to see that the process of keeping the customers safe was in place. The wait staff is amazing and very attentive, and the food was amazing. This will definitely be one of our "go to" breakfast/brunch places.
We are honored to be one of your go to spots, that is a huge compliment. Thank you.
Excellent service and great menu choices. My friend was able to order a breakfast item although it was lunch time and the kitchen kindly accommodated her request.
Thank you for coming in, we hope you'll return soon!
A real find when we were visiting Buckhead/Atlanta. There is a bakery inside this restaurant and they have a 50% off sale after 2pm...the bakery is excellent and this place is great for lunch or brunch.
Thank you for your kind feedback. We hope you'll stop in again when you are in town!
Amazing food...service from the hostess to the server to what seemed to be a floor manager
Definitely a place to try out while in ATL will definitely be back
Thank you for sharing your experience, we are so happy you enjoyed everything!
Everything was excellent, from the hostess to our server Dawn, to the food!
Best corned beef hash, ever! So glad we found the Corner Cafe.
We will definitely go back
Great warm spot! Amazing service. GREAT FOOD. Loved my pancakes and bacon
Dawn was one of the best servers we had the pleasure to meeting that day! Her expertise and personality is a big part of why we truly enjoyed our meal! Our food was excellent and the ambiance was nice too. My sister said that her chicken salad sandwich was one of the the best that she’s had. My Cuban panini was also delicious as was the tomato soup! You could tell the tomatoes were freshly cooked! My mom had the lamb sandwich and said it was awesome and will order it again. We are going back on Saturday and will request to be seated in Dawn’s section again! We highly recommend this infamous Atlanta restaurant!
Always consistent- the service better than ever -
Breakfast menu perfect with variety and ex dole t price points - take home bread from the bakery - the best in town !!
Meal was pretty good I’d like to visit again when in town
Please do stop back by when you're in town!
This visit I ate the best brunch food ever - the Eastern Shrimp omelet that was very flavorful. I substituted whole grain toast for french toast, and it was a little chewy. The grits were delicious, also. My companions enjoyed their food - White Chocolate Brioche French Toast for one and the Three Salad Platter for the other. Our wait persons Nenad and Stephanie, were very attentive and made this visit enjoyable.
Server vas very surly & rude. We told him to stop with the bad attitude!! And $14.95 for a sandwich with no chips or fries!!
Had a great experience celebrating my mother’s birthday. Thank you.
