Corner Cafe - PRIORITY SEATING
Server was great, but forgot a smoothie. He brought it in to go cup and didn't charge us. I would definitely go back. :)
Excellent food and service.
Great place for a casual lunch. The food is top-notch here -- probably the best lamb sandwich in town. Unfortunately, our table for 3 was two very small rounds pushed together, which is not an ideal set-up. And it was right next to the service station! Not what I expected after reserving Priority Seating because we were celebrating a birthday.
Nevertheless, it's fun to shop the bakery after eating, and nice that they give 20% off your purchase because you dined there.
Went for Brunch on last Sunday and will definitely go back! Food was excellent, ie. tasty, nice size portions and fresh. Server eas attentive and professional. It was crowded but not too noisy. Good vibe.
Great food as always !
Seated immediately and the food was excellent. Would go back in a heartbeat.
Priority seating is fabulous. Seated almost immediately after arrival. And, on top of that, the food and service were superb.
We ate at Corner Cafe two days in row while in town for the Super Bowl, once for brunch and once for breakfast. We were seated promptly for our reservation on Saturday (even though it was very busy) and again as walk ins the next day. Each of the servers we had were great - helpful and checked in with us just the right frequency. Both the brunch food and the breakfast food was outstanding. Very flexible on substitutions. Good local vibe. Highly recommended.
Great job! Yummy. Thank you!
Very nice place, I wish they would open longer hours.
Experience is always good.
coffee cold sauce requested on side
feed was covered with sauce
Great food, quick for luncheon appointments.
Lovely food. Service needs work. Seems like communication, initiative and attention to detail are lacking. Perhaps it’s due to the lack of cutlery available....
Ordered white choc french toast and it was horrible. Took one bite and left the rest on the plate. Waste of money. left starving. went and spent $25 to eat somewhere else. Like their lunch better. Also too noisey to have a conversation. And tables are so close that your neighbors can jear every word you say. Had a bad experience and wont come here again unless for take out. Too many much better restaurants around to leave dissatisfied.
My girl friends and I met here for brunch and the food was amazing. This will be our meet up spot from now on.
Our brunch was delicious!!
We all 3 had chicken and waffles and thought it was the best ever! I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.
Eggs Benedict had to be sent back because yolks were hard. Took 15 mins to get new order. They did comp us on that meal. Service was also slow. Took 10mins to get our coffee.
While the food is absolutely delicious, the service is what sets this place in another level. The staff works as a great team and we feel it. Freddy makes one feel like you are a long lost friend and family member. Thank you
I was so disappointed yesterday with the food at your restaurant. I took my co-worker for her birthday. She ordered salmon and it was unavailable. Then she ordered chicken which was dry with no sauce or cream. The vegetable medley was broccoli and asparagus. The asparagus was unfit to eat. It was discolored and appeared to be old, no color and limp. After the chicken was not good, they told her that they now had salmon which they finally prepared for her. Then the red velvet cheesecake which she received "on the house" was so dry that you couldn't eat it. The cheesecake part was good but not the cake part. The waiter tried everything to make the experience better but it was just not working. We did enjoy the peach bellini's which we had. I would not recommend this restaurant to a friend or anyone else. I have used the Buckhead restaurants for years and this was my first very poor experience.
Restaurant was so noisy we couldn't hear each other to have a conversation. The food was mediocre at best, nothing special. The eggs benedict were like hard boiled eggs. Would not recommend this when there are so many unique and great restaurants in Atlanta.
Restaurant on a Sunday is incredibly LOUD. One cannot hear a conversation. Food is good and service is adequate but prices are very high for a brunch.
When were there to celebrate a birthday. It’s took 45 minutes from the time we ordered to the time our food came out. Granted it was a party of 6 but that was to long. We couldn’t find our waiter for over 20 minutes to get the status we had to ask another waiter. The waiter told the manager that we wanted to talk to her, she looked at us and keep doing what she was doing. Never addressing the issue or us. This is now the 3rd time we have come in and experience waits of 45 minutes to an hour to get food, even with a party of 2! I’m sure we won’t be back as the service is not great!
Food was good; service a bit slow; too noisy to talk—
could not hear each other.
Always a pleasant experience at Corner Café! Personable waiters and great food that comes out quick!
It was a great time for brunch.
Too cramped & noisy to enjoy Sunday brunch. Could hear conversations on either side of us. Would’ve done better to walk into the bakery and order to go. Bagel was served cold with hard cream cheese on the side and avocado toast was nothing special
I love this place for brunch. Very relaxed feel with good service, oh the lattes are
Excellent!!!! So is the avocado toast, a must try!!!!
Loved it. Will be back.
Please don’t ask for 50 words. I’m a lady who is succinct .
Food was great, kid friendly!! Latte was not hot, that is my only negative.
Typically the Corner Café is wonderful, but I cannot recommend the "Priority Seating" option. We put in for priority seating for 11:30am and showed up at 11:25am. All the "priority seating" did for us is that we didn't have to tell them our party size. We were seated close to noon -- a 35 minute wait, which was standard for everyone (priority or not). There's no value to this service.
I'll start off by saying I have frequent Corner Cafe in the past with no issues. This time o decided to try something different.
I ordered the chicken and waffle. The Belgian waffle should be 4 pieces my order came with 3. The waitress stated it's 3 pieces because of the chicken. How do you make a Belgian waffle and give the customer 3 pieces? That's so weird.
The chicken was 2 pieces of chicken breast which was more like chicken tenders. It was good but small portion.
My sister ordered the buttermilk pancakes and she added the syrup. Apparently the syrup is 100% organic, which they don't tell you, but my sis knew after tasting it because she's not fond organic syrup. The waitress did get her a new stack of pancakes.
Lastly, the homemade chicken sausage..... The bomb. I would go back just for the chicken sausage.
Great service, good food and quiet enough to conducts business meeting. Loved that you could reserve priority seating.
Sadly, this place is showing signs of wear. Wobbly tables and build up of grime on table legs and chairs. Food outstanding and service was on point with an occasional nudge!
Food was not as good as it always has been in the past. Service was strong, however, and overall an OK experience.
The avocado egg toast was awesome. Really
Great breakfast spot!! The best crispy bacon in Atlanta. The Egg Abovado Toast is great.
The Servive was terrible. The food was just ok. We couldn’t get a wait staff to refil our water. Not a great experience and we paid far too much to be ignored.
