Cork Tree Restaurant is built around California products. Local ingredients are used whenever possible and wines of the West Coast, particularly California, are featured.

The wine list is always a work in progress, with a balance of well known wineries, as well as boutique wineries.

Cork Tree enhabits a style rich in California elegance. Large and round booths privately encased in wood and fabric provide intimate spaces for conversation and romance, while providing views of the understated glamor of the dining room. Trees and a natural cascading fountain make the Cork Tree Patio wind-protected and well-appointed for dining under the stars. Additionally, depending on the size of your celebration, two private dining options await.

We've been to Cork Tree several times in the past. We've never been disappointed. The food was well prepared, and they had a few unusual things on the menu, with some new takes on some of the normal fare. The wine list is nice. The service was very good. We will be back to the Cork Tree next time we are in Desert Springs.

Cork Tree is a good spot for a meal. The menu has nice variety and everything was well prepared. The pricing is a bit higher than the quality of the food, but I am a bit picky. The staff was very attentive, but our waiter forgot a few things. Ambience is wonderful. Not loud, which was very appreciated. Overall I would recommend it.

My caesar salad was a pile of lettuce with no dressing, no anchovies, no nothing...my husband's ciopinno was tasty, but had nothing but shrimp for $40. When I told the waiter that my salad had no dressing, he brought me a tiny container with dressing...I told him that I shouln't have to put dressing myself on a caesar salad..the chef came out and apologized and said he will alert the powers that be about the salad....they gave me a dessert free of charge but we won't go back again and we were told about this restaurant by others who won't go back either....we used to like it very much.

Great ambiance and food presentation. The service was "almost too good." The waiter was on us (in a quiet way) to order , etc. etc." The bus boys were on us also to finish up and get the plates from the table." But, I would put up with that rather than being ignored or having service be too slow.

What stood out most was the hostess and her scowl when we arrived to when we left. If she doesn't like her job then she should get another one where she doesn't have to face the public. Especially the public that is going to drop $200-300 to dine there.

We had to wait over an hour for our entrees and when they come out one of them was wrong. I was upset that our daughter didn’t have food and they remade all the dinners. Dinner was a disaster but they did redeem themselves by taking the four entrees off the check and said this is not their typical service. I appreciated them doing this. It shows that they knew this was not a good dinner experience.

We had been to the Cork Tree many times but always eating in the bar and off the bar menu. The dining was a step up and the price point reflects. Food and service definitely in the positive bracket.

This became our favourite Palm Desert restaurant a number of years ago. The service and food was great then and nothing has changed in 2018. Our server, Natalie, was excellent and made us feel totally relaxed and not rushed. She knew the wine and food menus perfectly.

Our dining experience at Cork Tree was absolutely fantastic. We were seated on time at a beautiful booth as requested. The service was perfect. The Server was experienced and well informed on the extensive wine list and dinner menu. The food presentation was as fantasric as the taste. Just a really great dining experience at a reasonable cost. We will be back for sure!

This is a place we look forward to dining in when in the desert. Food and service are generally excellent. This time we were disappointed in the Ceaser salad. Still will return another time.

This restaurant was so delicious we went two nights in a row, and are planning a third during our two week stay in Palm Desert. The seared scallops with corn risotto is perfectly cooked. So too is the salmon w horseradish crust.

So too was the templeton rye old fashioned.

Everything about our dining experience was excellent.
