We had a very enjoyable evening. We will certainly b back again.
Parisian gnocchi was really good as was the duck 🦆 and you can’t beat the salted butter. We were in and out in about 45 minutes so the service was a little rushed...
I met some friends for lunch at Coquette and loved it. The atmosphere was trendy. The doors/windows opened to a patio that could allow you to envision that you were at a Parisian café! The food was good. I had a quiche and salad, different fare than I normally eat on a lunch out, so that was a treat. I would definitely recommend!
Coquette never disappoints. A standing neighborhood haunt.
What else but Quiche?
Why even look at the menu when Coquette's makes such a great quiche? Just go for it!
A big miss. We often meet friends here and have always enjoyed the experience; however, brunch this past Sunday was very disappointing and certainly typical for this restaurant. Two of us ordered Eggs Florentine. The "poached" eggs were just too raw too eat - the whites were completely uncooked - so we sent them back. When the dishes were returned to us, they were still disappointing. The eggs were fine, if somewhat overcooked now, but the English muffins were tough as bricks. The last time I had this dish it was served with tomato confit which just made it very special. On our recent visit the confit was replaced with raw cherry tomato - very, very disappointing. The service was okay and the fries and salad were excellent.
Our server was very attentive and it made our celebration quite memorable.
Hair in food
We had a great time. Our server was excellent! Only quam is the portions are a little small for the price.
Wonderful time with friends celebrating delicious food! Seafood crepes where divine!!
Always excellent moment here in coquette restaurant. Food is delicious and service is perfect
Business celebration. Great set up in the bar area for our team. Judson took great care of us for both cocktails and having our food served at the right time
The food, atmosphere and service were all excellent. A great place for having delicious French cuisine and lingering conversation.
My husband & I were celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary. We had a lovely dinner. The food and drink were delicious, and the ambiance was beyond compare. They also surprised us complimentary champagne. We had a wonderful evening. Highly recommend!
Warm atmosphere, great service, delicious food. Would recommend for Sunday brunch.
I've been here to celebrate several birthdays (mine and others). My sister was coming in from out of town recently and made a special request to have Sunday brunch here, based on a single memorable experience of hers from five years ago. She claims that the omelettes are among the fluffiest she's ever had (twice!). Her compliments to the chef. My entire family enjoys the and reminisces about our trip to France together.
wonderful food, great ambience, and excellent staff
Great food, service and ambiance.
While the service was great, the food and where we were seated, no so much. We were seated behind the bar, which had constant glass tinging noises, and what sounded like the dirty dishes drop off area. Made hard for conversation. The French onion soup was too sour tasting, the table bread dry, and the dessert lacking flavor. The muscles and frites were enjoyable. The severs were excellent. I prefer Rue Cler for authentic French food.
Always excellent. Great food and ambiance. The only thing I don’t like are the chairs. They are round and you have no where to hang your purse. Sit in a booth if you can.
Wonderful meal and atmosphere during our lunchtime outing for four! Service was very good and all enjoyed their meal at a reasonable price point.
Wonderful French brasserie look and feel. Great service. Ordered grilled Salmon medium. Unfortunately it was served well done and coated in salt. Service promptly assessed and delivered a better option. Portions are too small / price too high compared to local dining options. The food should be better.
We went out to Easter brunch at Coquette and had a great time. I made sure to make reservations at least a month out. We were promptly seated when we arrived. The restaurant was full and busy. I ordered the Croque Madame, which was perfectly cooked. The iced tea was great. Many pretentious restaurants mess up the tea by adding fruit flavoring, but that's not the case here. The mimosas were only $2.00 each and great. I ended the meal with a sorbet. A little expensive at $8. Overall a very pleasant meal.
Very nice server. Busy evening but attentive service. Only downside is our table was very close to the two tables next to us and we could hear their conversations. This is one of our “go to restaurants”.
My son chose this restaurant for his 20th birthday. With the food being exceptionally delicious, I felt we were being rushed by our waitress. Our reservation was at 6:00; we were seated about 10 minutes prior to that. We had a charcuterie plate and some wine, enjoying our appetizer and conversation. We were continually asked if we were ready to order. What happened to just enjoying what you were eating then? Plus, nothing was said re: our son's birthday. They didn't necessarily need to bring a comped dessert, but it would have been nice if they saw what we were celebrating. And I understand they want to turn over the table, but this was really a detriment to our experience. We walked out around 7:05....a real shame and not sure I will return because of the hurriedness to turn their table over.
We went for lunch. Had been wanting to return and bring our in laws for quite sometime. Made reservations. Hostess was pleasant. Where we sat fine. French Fries to die for good. Design of restaurant is very appealing. But I give this 3 stars because my croque Madame was not toasted correctly- almost not at all. They use to have the best croque madame... not at all anymore. But beyond that we had our kids with us- never offered a children’s menu. When my 9 year old ordered an adult meal- some guidance on it for a child would have done wonders. Waste of a lunch. But the worst was the waiter: rushed, flippant- asked what we needed then would give attitude- as if doing his basic job- being a server- thus us asking for a drink, xtra French fries- appeared to be too much for him. A waitress can truly make or break an experience. He broke it for us- to the pony my father in law became veryu upset. Even with great fries. Nice hostess. Great design.... our waiter truly obliterated the what should have been a memorable experience with our in laws as we were visiting them in Raleigh.
Excellent as always.
We took an out of town guest to Coquette with our family after church on Sunday. We had no wait or trouble with our reservation and were very glad that reservations were accepted. We all loved what we ordered. The restaurant was clearly busy but our service was excellent none the less and the noise level was not an issue for us to have a nice conversation.
Standard French fare, though limited. A bit pricey, but affordable...seems the cost of gentrification of Raleigh Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. I'd tell my friends to give it a go.
I've eaten here frequently. This time was an early dinner before a broadcast theater performance, so I had a light meal--the seared tuna salad niçoise, which I'd never had before. It was excellent with a glass of sauvignon blanc.
Had a great time and the food was amazing! Really great atmosphere.
So very accommodating! Very gracious as I had asked for a special location and they made sure I had it.😊
Brunch: I really like the brunch at Coqeette. $2 mimosas and the French Toast is very good ! Nice restaurant !
Dinner: I had the filet mignon last time I was there and it's very good as well. I thought the sides (potatoes and mushrooms) were very uninspiring though. My date and I had several drinks and dinner with no dessert. With tip it as around $115. I know it's a pricier restaurant. I think I'll stick to brunch though because I feel there's more value there as I was a bit underwhelmed with dinner aside from the tasty filet.
We enjoyed our dinner meal so much that while we were up in the area the next day we had lunch there as well.
Your wine by the glass needs several lower price options.
Great food and great service! Highly recommended for lunch.
Great, authentic french food, from a french. I definitely recommend.
Love this restaurant. It is the go-to place to meet my friends. The food is excellent and
lives up to the my idea of French cuisine. Service is always excellent. The atmosphere is fabulous - a Raleigh gem.
