   Beautiful venue on the roof of this building in the heart of The City. Sadly I felt the staff need to apply for jobs more suitable to their personalities. The service level was poor, trying to get someone’s attention was a challenge, know one was in control seeing the service to the tables. Food was nice, but wouldn’t race back. I had to go and find the waiter to pay the bill, not what you would expect.

   Reception was unmanned when we arrived, we had to wait until our chosen wine was sufficiently chilled, the salad nicoise had next to no tuna in it and what was there was tinned (£32??) and the veal was inedible. Never again!

   Venue is truly superb, but I fear they are simply relying on that and not the food or service to bring the punters in. Waiter brought the wrong drinks before the meal, in the wrong serving measures, with the wrong measures. Slow to rectify. Wine took ages to order, and it wasnt that busy. Food was not more than ok, not hot and expensive for what it was - even allowing for venue and location. Asked to take drinks out to bar after and got a begrudging ok, but no offer to assist with glasses, bottle etc. Works as a bar, not as a restaurant. A missed opportunity on their part given the superb venue and its views.

   Coq d'Argent set in a lovely location with an extremely appetising menu. I love it.

   Great table, food and service. The beef was tender and lamb shank was really nice. Will go back.

   Excellent venue, food was superb with a broad menu suitable for most foodies. Service was even better.

   A very memorable evening in a very nice French restaurant. The ambience is relaxed and cosy even though the food is just slightly above average. The service was impeccable with a team of very friendly staffs. The Sommelier Yuksel was very helpful and knowledgeable. Overall it has been a most enjoyable evening and we would certainly recommend this reassurance to any would be visitors to London.

   Great food, great service. Set menus are amazing value with a wide choice of dishes to choose from. Whether it is busy, quiet, indoor or outdoors eating, lunch or dinner, every time I come here, I have a lovely time.

   The setting is lovely although there is little opportunity for a skyline view. The food was unremarkable despite the high prices demanded. My first choice main and desert were both unavailable but lack of availability was only mentioned when I selected those dishes. It turned out that 20% dishes were unavailable. Service was embarrassingly poor with the exception of the sommelier who was excellent. We were left waiting for two minutes on arrival despite staff walking past us and not acknowledging us. The waiting staff seemed poorly trained around basic concepts of service, making cringeworthy errors. I had been wanting to visit Coq D’Argent for a couple of years having had it highly recommended but can only think standards have slipped. This turned out to be an expensive mistake that I shan’t be repeating.

    I had set menu lunch with a friend and enjoyed it immensely. The location is great with lovely views. The staff were very welcoming and we had a nice table overlooking the terrace which was good because it was a sunny day. Our meal was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. There were a nice set of options available and we had no trouble in selecting things that we liked. All in all a sound choice for lunch. Thanks very much.
