Great food and service
Love the happy hour they have great deals and their food is delISH
Great dinner with my mom great food and wine
Just an overall great experience. Waiter was very attentive.
They have a good happy hour, so for what it’s worth the food was ok. I’ve heard the desserts are fabulous but we didn’t get to try any. Service lacked. Server wasn’t friendly, nor smiled the entire time. Never offered us anything before happy hour ended, never offered another round when our glasses were empty. Didn’t seem interested if we were pleased with our drinks and food, because she never asked. After we paid out she just left our checks on the table without saying any type of farewell or thanks. So can’t say I’ll be back, even with a good happy hour like theirs. I rather pay a little extra at a place I know I’ll get friendlier service, and won’t feel like a nuisance.
I absolutely love copper. Probably my favorite brunch/lunch spot!
Beautiful day and it was the perfect place to be for lunch.
Great food, amazing mimosas; however the service wasn’t the best. I believe they were under staffed due to reopening from the virus.
One of our favorite places to eat!
The food and service are always amazing!!
It was perfect for talking and getting treats after dinner. Highly recommend!
Food was pretty good actually. But that wasn't the issue.
We were seated, someone brought us waters, and then we weren't engaged with for a solid 25 minutes after that. Meanwhile, servers and other staff were clearly working and serving other tables. And... there were only like 5 tables open on the inside, so we clearly weren't lost in the chaos and size of it all.
I had to get up and ask a guy on staff if there was a reason nobody had come to serve us or engage with us at all... he was super apologetic and he stepped in and did as good of a as he could do to make it up to us. I was pretty close to walking out.
We most certainly won't go back. Food wasn't THAT good.
The food was pretty an delicious. The cake balls were great! Definitely will return!
Service and food is always excellent I would go everyday if I could
Randomly found this restaurant on Open Table and gave it a try. Was definitely a HIT! Great food and the service was very friendly and helpful. Will visit again when in Austin next time.
The menu looks good, but the food that comes out is absolutely amazing. Even the simple buttermilk biscuits were to die for. We will be back...soon!
I gave it a low rated 1. It’s not a anniversary type of restaurant you want to go to & 2. The Mexican street was not good.
Food was cold, champagne was warm
My family was visiting Austin for a conference and we chose to go to Copper since it had kid-friendly cake balls and a good selection of fresh salads. The adults ordered various salads and the kids ordered a grilled cheese and a hamburger. Everyone enjoyed the food, especially the salad and starter combo. The kids unfortunately did not love the cake balls (they tried oreo and birthday cake). The restaurant was quiet but the service unfortunately was slow. Despite me letting them know we had to close out our bill quickly so I could make it to a conference, it took over 15 minutes to pay and pack up the food. We decided to give the restaurant another chance sine we did love the salads. There were different bar and wait staff but the service was still very slow. This time we did not have silverware and had to request a waitress twice before we could order. We added the brussel sprouts as an appetizer and they were tasty. Overall, I recommend Copper if you are OK with slow and inattentive service since the main menu food is delicious.
This place is so cute and refreshing. Our waitress was friendly and consistently checked on our table. The food was TO DIE FOR. Everything we ordered was delicious and a nice flare on the dishes. The mimosa juice options were equally as great. The restaurant was a true gem! And it was quite affordable as well. It’s an amazing brunch spot.
Sebastian gave great service and as funny and social with us and the crew. The redfish, Brussels sprouts, creme brulee were delicious.
Perfect for Galentine’s Day dinner!
Great food, amazing drinks and yummy desserts!
Everything was great except they need to sweep the floor around the tables. Ours was kind of messy.
To start, it took just under 20min to be assigned a waiter and given water. We had to ask another server for help, and rather than a simple sorry she shifted the blame and was a bit rude.
Our server came and didn’t apologize, just said ‘this is a corner without visibility’. He was nice enough, but did nothing to make anything better. We also asked for our app and food together, and he brought out dishes separately, not really meeting our request. Then brought the check while we were still eating. 100% goal of just getting us out of there. Whereas it seemed like other tables were really enjoying themselves, we did not.
The wine pour was lacking (probably 3oz instead of 5-6oz), my Old Fashioned cocktail was made with small ice cubes - which causes it to dilute immensely. So that was disappointing.
The ambience and the resto itself were very nice. Great lighting, colors and the theme was really nice. The dessert bar was great, and the large counter/bar for coffee/drinks was really nice. I likely will come back for coffee and a cake bite just for these reasons.
Finally the food - it was solid, but I was whelmed. The deviled eggs were delicious, the trash fries awesome. However, the jalapeño blueberry ribs were quite bland, like the cook was scared to apply the delicious sauce! We added the sauce on the side and that tidied it up. They were very well cooked, though, which was just as important. The last dish we split was the shrimp and crab enchiladas, which we were disappointed with. Flavor and shrimp were great, but it was all cooked/presented in a cast iron pan, lightly layered together. This caused the disc to mostly become a soup as opposed to nice, formed enchiladas. More than edible, just not put together well.
Overall, the service was very disappointing, the cocktails/beverages the same. This was redeemed by a great, clean environment, and some highlight dishes. I wouldn’t recommend dinner here, but will be back for cake bites and coffee.
I would’ve loved to taste the food and sample the wine flights, but never got the chance. Showed up with my beautiful date for our reservation and were seated promptly, then proceeded to be literally ignored by the staff for over 30 minutes. No water, no greeting, not a word. Two other tables were seated after us and quickly served. Not busy, plenty of staff, no rhyme or reason for the treatment we received. So we left
Great experience! We went during Saturday brunch with a party of 4, and everyone had a great time. Seabastian was our server, and he was amazing!!!
The Food was great overall! We came during Happy Hour! Celebrating my brother and his girlfriend Birthday’s! The only issue I had was I order a wine flight and there was so little wine in each glass it looked like I was drinking someone’s left over wine. I ended up returning it and getting a margarita flight which was really good! Future reference please put wine flights in smaller glasses or put more wine in glasses!
Great cozy place.
Got an order wrong, didn’t even care. Didn’t want to take the rest of the tables food back while we waited on the last of the order to be re-made
Great brunch spot!
Comfortable restaurant we walked into after shopping in the Domain.
Staff was super friendly, food was comfort food with a step up flavor.
I had the shrimp and grits and I considered it one of the better shrimp and grits I've had.
food WAS FAIR HAPPY HOUR DRINK PRICES WERE CONFUSING
Really liked our dinner there. Service was great, food was taste, many different types of drinks, and prices were reasonable. Place is kinda small is the only downside
We all had the redfish and it was very dry.
Birthday boy greatly enjoyed his evening and cocktails!
Great food and always great service! I love their happy hour!
The Happy Hour specials are a great deal for good food and nice cocktails. We were all happy with our meal, but sometimes had trouble tracking down our server.
The bacon wrapped pork tenderloins were excellent. So was the fried chicken. Tuesday night was happy hour too with half price apps. The fries were amazing.
Food was great but drinks were just ok. Nice place to catch up with friends.
I haven't been here in years and fell right back in love with this place. The drinks, food & cake balls are wonderful. The reverse happy hour was a treat as well :)
