Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Indianapolis
It's a nice place for wine and dinner, but we got seated next to a table with a bunch of children. I'm not anti-children, just wish our date was a little more intimate.
Everything was so good! There were six of us and not one had anything that was bad or just “ok.” We all thoroughly enjoyed the food, atmosphere, & our waitress was so great. She was so kind & was honest with us about the food and recommending. She genuinely wanted us to enjoy ourselves and our meals. The only thing that was not ideal was our wait, we even made reservations for 7 & were not seated until 7:30 but the hostess offered us free drinks for the inconvenience & that was very kind. Overall, love this place!
Took my Grandmother here for her birthday and it was a great experience. Personable service at a good pace, tasty food and lots of different options, and great wine. Went on a Sunday at lunch time so it was nice and quiet, but didn't feel empty. Definitely recommend and will go back again.
Another great experience here! Always delicious and great service
Great food, great service as always!!
James was amazing in the wine room and Megan was our server. She did a great job!
Another great dinner, good food and amazing drinks!
Soy & ginger salmon portion size was generous, however in their attempt to caramelize the glaze, they over cooked the salmon. The wasabi mashed potatoes were good but the wasabi flavor was more of a hint than a feature. My wife reported the fish sandwich to be tasty but they use a thick batter so ask for it grilled if you want to taste the fish. I don’t recommend the cheese & bacon board. The candied bacon was delicious, probably the highlight of the meal, but the rest of the board was unimaginative and difficult to combine. Other than the salmon, the meal was fine. Not extraordinary or exciting, just fine.
As always, Cooper's Hawk never fails to amaze us. Our normal server, Julie, was sick. Hope she is better as we missed her. So, Steven was our server. He was just as amazing. I am hobbling on crutches at the moment because of gout in my left foot and I had a chair to prop my foot on. He was very attentive and if Julie is ever sick again, we will definitely ask for Steven.
Coopers Hawk is always amazing!
Date night had a great time from wine tasting to dinner.
Coopers Hawk remains one of my GO-TO restaurants. There is a great variety of food options, the wine is very nice. Today it was quiet and that was nice as I caught up with a high school friend.
Love my wine club!
Our dinner was wonderful! The Brussel sprout appetizer is fantastic!
Excellent food, great wine and wonderful service
This was our first visit to Cooper's Hawk. It was absolutely amazing. The staff, the food, the wine, the ambiance, far exceeded any expectations. You can tell the employees love working at this restaurant, which speaks for the management in my opinion. We will be back, and we will tell everyone how much we enjoyed our time.
The food was pretty good. You get big portions. Wine flights are good too. It’s nice you can sample wines before you order. Overall a fun environment and great to go as a group,
Amazing place for a nice dinner or a special occasion!
My husband and I dined here to celebrate our 20th anniversary last Saturday, and I’ve already requested to return for Valentines Day! We started with the Crispy Brussel Sprouts appetizer, which was SO yummy! Next, we both had the Create Your Own Surf and Turf. I chose the Parmesan crusted medallions and crab cake, which were both outstanding. My husband had a pecan crusted flounder and NY strip steak, also both really good. They brought us a truffle and chocolate covered strawberry and offered us each a glass of sparkling wine to celebrate our anniversary, but we had to pass on the wine due to allergy medication we’d taken earlier, but next time we’ll be having some wine too! I can’t wait to go back to Cooper’s Hawk next month. The hardest thing will be forcing myself to try something else from the menu!
We were a party of six. Our server was very friendly. Things kind of fell apart when dinner was anticipated to arrive they brought one person's food, four minutes later brought a second person's food. They then brought my food and it was wrong. A few minutes later they brought the rest of the tables' food. My husband's food was chicken Parmesan with Betty's potatoes but his potatoes weren't ready so he had his chicken for eight minutes without his potatoes. She put in the wrong order for me apparently and so they rushed the Parmesan crusted grouper and it was not very good when it did come out. Overall much too much money to spend with food not being delivered at the same time and orders not being complete. Mangement never stopped in to see what was going on or how we were doing.
Cooper’s Hawk is one of my favorite restaurants. I have noticed a decline in size of wedge salad and mine had ONE piece of bacon on it with little dressing. Had the special chicken sandwich and it was delicious. We were celebrating two birthdays (group size 6). Everyone’s food was great. One member of the group needs gluten free and Cooper’s Hawk has a large gluten free menu. Julie, server, did a super job of correcting a couple errors and meeting all our requests.
I went with my girlfriends and we had a wonderful time. We all had an opportunity to join the wine club. I am looking forward to many dates there.
Birthday for mother in law.
Good wine, good food, good service - all A+
As usual the food was great and our servers were great! The staff that was at the membership counter did an excellent job helping our friend get her new membership registered and while we were waiting we were able to ask a few questions of a couple other servers about decanters and wine. Everyone made our visit the best.
Keep Doing What Ya'll Do Don't Stop The Friendly Vibe!
Celebrated the new year with our kids......The server was wonderful and helped with suggestions. OUr son is gluten free and told us it was the best gluten free bread he has ever had. Our server even put 2 loaves in a take out container. We will be back for sure
Excellent service, excellent food and very good wine. The wine club membership is a great value.
We had several people in the party with dietary sensitivity and the menu was flexible enough to accommodate our needs.
Fabulous food and great cocktails! The server was very knowledgeable about all items on the menu. Provided recommendations based upon our liking! Ambience was perfect!
Cooper's Hawk is always amazing. We come out of our way on special occasions because we love the restaurant so much. The Over-the-Border Egg Rolls and the Banoffee Pie are must tries!
New Year’s Eve reservation. Great service and excellent food!!! Loved the gnocchi with butternut squash!
We loved everything about our visit. Our server was very helpful in making recommendations! Although they have a membership, they don't push it on you and make you feel that you have to join!
Kimberly was our bartender for the tasting. She was very friendly and engaging with a very bubbly personality. Daniel was our waiter and could not be more accommodating. He was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He made our dining experience wonderful! The only downside was my husband's food was not very hot upon arrival at our table. Mine could have been a little hotter as well. The food was very good though.
We went to celebrate a birthday and we were not disappointed. Great food and Samantha was superb making sure we had everything we needed.
Early New Year celebration. Surf and turf was outstanding as was the scallop and shrimp risotto.
We were just a little frustrated since we made a reservation and got there early but still had to wait a half hour past our reservation. We thought it would be easy to get in since all of the times were available, they should take some of the times off if they are not available!!
The food was good. They were 20 minutes past our reservation seating us. They brought the wrong appetizer, but we settled for it as it was good. The waiter was scattered - forgot my glass of wine until it was too late. Overall, the experience was not bad as the food and wine were good even if I got the wrong food and less wine than I wanted.
My husband and I took my 84 year-old parents and our two twenty-something kids to Sunday brunch and all 6 of us were pleased with our food, service, and overall experience. We enjoyed the wine flights and samples, too. Highly recommend!
Time there was absolutely perfect. The ambience was fantastic , The food was amazing as always, and the service was top-notch. Definitely going back
