Waterfront dining at its finest! Family-owned and operated for 115 years, Columbia has earned acclaim for its old-world charm and award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine. Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the dining room. Choose a table looking out onto the radiant blue waters of the Intracoastal Waterway from the Mediterranean-style dining room, or experience the casual atmosphere from our outdoor deck on the water. Join us for century-old family recipes like Paella a la Valenciana, Roast Pork a la Cubana and fresh seafood specialties. Sample a fine Spanish wine like Montecillo or Campillo. We are a sister to the Columbia in Tampa's Ybor City, founded in 1905. Children's menu available. Open 365 days a year, including all holidays.

    Scallops were way overcooked and horrible , then my steak had someone’s hair, long blonde hair that while I was eating got not only stuck halfway down my throat but on my tooth as well. My wife actually pulled it out of my mouth to show to waitresses. Disgusting! To be fair waitresses brought me a free beer and did offer to bring me a new meal. I refused due to the fact I didn’t want anyone messing with my food anymore than the hair in my $200 meal. There was easily 100 people there and people waiting. It may be a popular place in advertising and it’s a Bueatiful spot, but they are rushing people through and not cooking to their reputation. Totally not worth cost, and being charged to choke on hair made it worse. Went to pizza place next door after got overcharged for two slices and enjoyed our dinner. I think managers there need to reassess their priorities when food is sent out, because there were plenty of managers walking around.

    Great food service and experience! The stuffed shrimp and 1905 salad was amazing! Don’t forget bread pudding for dessert!

    The black bean cakes, shrimp and yellow rice were splendid! Server table side manner was a bit short, not warm and welcoming, sort of an abrasive experience for fine dining and for our first experience. Maybe she was having a bad day, but it was a disappointing 1st experience at such an iconic restaurant.

    I've gone to the Columbia at St Armands circle all the time, an everything has been outstanding. I can't say about the one in SandKey. The service was fair at best. My waiter Bento was asleep at the wheel, I asked him if there was any specials he said no, but the waiter Lathan at the table next to me told that table about specials, was missing the whole time. He brought the check before he even asked if I wanted dessert. I think Bento needs more retraining.
