Collage Restaurant

I read a review that said “If I wasn’t wearing a white shirt I would have licked the plate.” Can’t agree more. My husband and I both had the escargot. It was delicious. The most tender I’ve ever had. We shared a pear and beet salad. The dressing was fabulous and just the right amount. I had the scallop entree. It was wonderful. Cooked to perfection. Sam had the shrimp and scallops. Mouth watering. We had the rum cake and the creme brûlée for dessert. As full as we were, we didn’t leave a bite. The service was on point all evening, even though we were the last reservation. We were not rushed or made uncomfortable in any way. A most enjoyable evening.

Cute little restaurant recommended to us by others. We were greeted well and seated promptly. We soon had water menus and a description of some specials. The waitress left for us to consider the wine list and menus....and didn't return for quite awhile. Eventually, she did and we ordered wine, and since we had plenty of time to read the menus and wait, appetizers and dinner. That was the last we saw of her until the check arrived. The food was excellent, the wine list good and very reasonably priced. Unfortunately, the complete lack of anything resembling service ultimately colored the whole evening. We have been to many restaurants across the country and this was probably the least attentive service we have ever experienced. We had to pour all of the wine after the first glass, another server brought more water and asked to help with the wine given that ours was MIA, etc. We were asked about the food by the manager which was very good, could no make to for the McDonalds -like customer service... I will note, the other servers seemed much more engaged and attentive so perhaps this was just an anomaly...

Once again, fabulous experience from the appetizers through dessert. Service was top notch too. We look forward to our next visit.

Beautiful, intimate restaurant with impeccable service and wonderful food. Victoria was our server and was friendly and attentive. The Executive chef was not in, but the sous- chef stopped by to say hello and was so friendly and engaging. I had mentioned when I booked the reservation on open table that it was my wife’s birthday and that she would love to meet the chef. And they remembered, without my prompting them on the day of the dinner! Kudos to this wonderful restaurant and their staff. I highly recommend Collage for foodies desiring an intimate, inventive dinner.

We found this restaurant to be exceptional! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars in every category was (and this sounds silly): we were seated in a very nice corner table......everything was just perfect, except when you look out the window you had a beautiful view of the garbage pails and dead plants in the alley. Really? Management should really consider frosting the bottoms of the windows so that light can filter in, but you won't see the disgusting garbage. It really took away from the whole experience. Other than that, the food, service and value were perfect!

Great food and service!

Very nice menu with interesting and attractive chef's specials. The service is very professional and attentive. Really liked the cozy atmosphere and music playlist as it was a nice background to conversation, not overwhelming. Food was excellent and very well presented.

The Collage was recommended by a friend and I am so glad she did. It was my Birthday and it also was the best one I had the food and everything was just outstanding. My Husband an I cut not stop talking about it and we will definitely be back. Five star in my book.

We plan our trips to St Augustine around our reservations at Collage. Once again from start to finish everything was fabulous. Great service and outstanding food.

Had our anniversary dinner at the Collage. Everything was perfect. Everyone was extremely pleasant and professional, from the hostess to our server, Victoria. My wife and I started off with salads. While one doesn't generally get excited about a salad, the presentation was such you didn't want to ruin it by actually eating them...but we did and they were good. We both ordered the Veal Orleans. The veal was so tender that you could cut it with just a fork. They gave you a good portion. Make sure you keep some bread to soak up the sauce, hmm good! Don't over due it, because you need to leave some room for their warm butter rum cake. The best I've ever eaten. A word of warning, there is no parking at the restaurant and parking in the historic district is a challenge, so leave plenty of time to get there for your reservation. Overall we highly recommend this fine restaurant.

Dining at Collage is always a very pleasant experience. It gets top marks for food, service and ambiance and is our go-to special occasion dining choice. We have dined there many times and have never been disappointed.

First time at the Collage. Food is superb and service excellent. A tad on the noisy side, but it was Friday night and all tables booked for the evening.

We’ve spent our last two anniversaries there and love this restaurant. The food is always great. I wish it was a little more consistent with some dishes though as the escargot was a bit different tasting and last 2 times it came with crustini and the Seafood quartet was far superior last yr. this yr it was played different and the charizzo was overpowering. My wife’s Fillet Magnifico was ridiculous and made me jealous. The magnifico was a superstar. It’s still our favorite St. Augustine restaurant and I can’t wait to go back and have the magnifico or the rack of lamb. I’d just be a little less heavy handed with the chorizo in the seafood dishes because the Tabor next to us had the fish special and she had the same issue.

Great Restaurant

The experience was lovely, warm bread with fresh roasted garlic perfect, beef tenderloin appetizer supreme! My husband's port tenderloin was beautifully presented and delicious. My veal was delicious, tender and the sauce was perfect, the only problem with the dish is that there was no color. It was served with mashed potatoes, artichoke hearts and shrimp...all very bland in color...tasted good but would have rated an excellent if it too had the visual appeal of the appetizer and pork dish. Service was impeccable. We will return!

Both the food and the service were exceptional. The shrimp appetizer was delicious and the tenderloin steaks were cooked perfectly. The wine list provided more than enough options and what we selected was excellent. The service could not have been better. Each time that we were waiting for something, our server would arrive with it at almost the perfect moment. We never felt rushed and never waited for anything either. The overall experience was outstanding and we definitely plan to return. This is a fairly small restaurant and my first impression was that that tables were a little close. Once we were seated that really didn't matter. It was obvious that everyone else was also enjoying their meals. I saw a couple of entrees delivered that I'm looking forward to trying sometime in the future. I would not hesitate to recommend Collage to anyone that I know.

Still the best restaurant in Saint Augustine

This is a foodie place. Nice wine list. Very interesting and eclectic menu. Dinner and wine $135 with tip.

Great food and great service. Well thought out menu items and an impressive wine list. Servers were very attentive and anticipated our requests. One of the better meals you'll ever have!

The steak just melted in my mouth— & oh, that sauce!

Absolutely fabulous meal, service was perfect! Intermezzo strawberry sorbet was excellent. Chef allowed us to order a smaller portion of lobster ravioli as an app. Diver scallops on a buttered popcorn purée with chopped almonds...I will be dreaming about them forever! Roasted garlic to spread on bread was a great surprise. Just perfect!!

Food & service we’re off the charts good. We travel a lot and this was the best meal we have had in a long time.

Always an amazing experience! The food is always sou great! My husband got the duck. After his first bite he said,” best duck I ever had”! I always get a steak tenderloin. It was cooked to perfection! For an appetizer we got a shrimp dish, sorry I don’t remember the name, but it was so good I wanted to drink the sauce. Then I remembered I was at a fine dining restaurant. Scott was the best server! We go here once a year. Can not wait to return!

From presentation to taste, Collage has amazing food! Scott, our waiter, was attentive and helpful in choosing items. It is a charming place with excellent food. A definite find!

A lovely birthday meal at Collage. I thoroughly enjoyed the preparation of the sea scallops and my husband had the beef tip tenderloin that he described as thoroughly enjoyable. Don't miss this restaurant if you want a romantic meal while in St. Augustine.

Took a bit to finally get a reservation but well worth the wait! Food was amazing! Wine list was also amazing! Will be back for sure.

Hate to recommend as hard to get it now but want others to enjoy as well

Very nice atmosphere. Great food and great service. Took home enough for second dinner. Would go back again next time in town.
