My experience at the restaurant was disappointing and inconsistent with the overall quality of the Resort at Pelican Hill. The menu choices were uninspired. For example, I had the branzino on ratatouille and it was bland. The fillet which sat on top of a bed of ratatouille had skin on the bottom which made it difficult to combine the simple papillote preparation with flavor. With that said the ratatouille was also not well flavored. My companion did not eat two of the four diver scallops that were served in her entree. Dessert choices were also unimpressive, that too in the holiday season. Service was acceptable but not up to my expectations based on the otherwise excellent experiences I've had at the resort. Sad to see. This was once an outstanding restaurant.

The whole team from the front desk to service were exceptional and so welcoming/attentive! And the views are incredible!

The food at the Colisseum Poolside Grill was incredibly delicious. The Shrimp Scampi Appetizer was scrumptious. The Steak Frites was a perfect dish. The filet mignon was so tender & it melted in our mouths. The brussel sprouts were amazingly crispy. My husband had a fantastic birthday with awesome hospitality from Edward and other servers on the team. The berry birthday cake was a nice surprise and really good. We loved the scenic ocean view from the covered patio dining area; and we also enjoyed the fresh sea air. The ambiance here is so calming. You have got to try the Special Cheesecake dessert with Espresso which was a fabulous way to end our delectable dining experience!

We were there several times, our family love this restaurant, the menu just changed, we miss some of dishes from the old menu….

We had a family dinner and had a very nice waiter but the food came out at a snails pace. It was so slow we had to have the entrees and appetizers served together. Lighting a little high and atmosphere could be better with lower lighting. Food quality was good but came out lukewarm which was surprising given the long wait. Salmon very good as was shrimp with risotto. Broccolini was dry and had little flavor. Drinks and wine were pricey but good list by the glass.

We had made reservations in advance for a birthday and even though the weather forecasted a rainy day, we didn’t have the option to cancel it last minute. You’d think Ocean view restaurants would work best on a sunny day, but we were surprised at the gorgeous views with the rains. Heaters were set up asap, the blinds were drawn on request of the customers, it was still gorgeous. Service, food and drinks were at their best as always. Loved the time spent there!
