Cochon captures the true essence of Cajun and Southern cooking. Chefs Donald Link and Stephen Stryjewski bring their love for southern Louisiana foods to every plate at Cochon. Donald's experience cooking with his family at their homes in Crowley and Rayne allow guests to share in his passion for real country and home cooking. The food is focused and simple, featuring roasted meats with natural sauces, homemade sausages, and fresh local seafood. The menu compliments the rustic, yet contemporary setting of the dining room. The Bar at Cochon features signature cocktails as well as the classic libations of New Orleans. A unique selection of Bourbon & Spirits from small distilleries. Cochon brought Bourbon back to the spotlight in New Orleans. A diverse beer selection with an emphasis on local micro-brews offers a cool contrast with the sometimes spicy cuisine.

This restaurant is a little over-hyped. The food was good, not great. The menu was limited in offerings for our group.

Excellent lunch. Had the oysters with garlic chili sauce, heirloom tomatoes with crab and ribs. Sauce was spicey sweet. Waitress was very attentive. We just ordered an entree at a time and split. Highly recommend the restaurant.

Absolutely excellent! Best wood fired oysters I've ever had! Charcuterie was on point and everything was home made. Excellent value!

This a must every year we come to NOLA. My fav is the oysters with chili butter. The special appetizer last night was a Tuna Crudo that was ridiculously amazing. Perfect for the summer. Lite and refreshing!!! Next we had rabbit dumplings and gulf fish fishermen style with creamy grits!!! Y'all I'm telling you this is NOLA food in one stop. Drinks, wine and food. Can't get much better than that!!!!!

Stumbled up on this place after a friend recommended it. Definitely try the fried livers and the ribs. They were amazing to eat. The livers paired with mint leaves and pickled onions is amazing (and i'm not a fan of livers). The cochon dish was amazing! So much flavor in each bite!
