   Cochon's the ambiance is always very nice -- soft music, the smell of hickory & food, people enjoying themselves, and the FOOD. Our meal was amazing -- fried oysters juicy and tender, out of this world scallops with mushrooms, scrumptious. The potatoes au gratin with asparagus spears, also delicious. One of our fav places to eat.

   The food was nothing short of Superb. My wife and I both had the crab stuffed salmon - it was unbelieveable! So much taste and fork tender simply the best we've ever had - anywhere! The potatoes augratin were superb along with the aspargus and salads. The Dynamic Duo for dessert was divine - creme brulee and chocolate ganache - a perfect ending!

    Our favorite place in Williamsburg. The pan seared Rockfish was superb done just right. Our server Allison was very knowledgeable and friendly My hubby had the AHI panseared Tuna and cooked just right, the love for food exudes from the plate. The quality of the items on the menu deserves 5 stars. We are addicted to Cochon on Second for the evening and Moody's Kitchen on 7129 Merrimac Trail for lunch and take-out.

    This was our first time at Cochon and it was a wonderful experience. The inside was gorgeous, the service was exceptional, the drinks were tasty and the food was delicious. Cannot wait to go back!

    We went there on a Wednesday night. It was a delightful meal, well prepared and with excellent service. It is a relatively short, but interesting menu and the ingredients (we had fried oysters, scallops, and pork chop dishes) worked well together. The ambiance was warm and intimate. The open kitchen is a plus. Very friendly staff. I would definitely go back when I travel to Williamsburg.

    Such an amazing restaurant. The food is really great. But what set Cochon apart is it’s staff. There’s a friendliness and intimacy that you don’t often experience. Having worked as a waiter in “high end” restaurants decades ago I know great service. Awesome execution.

    This was the most amazing dinner my girlfriend and I have ever had. It was our anniversary they gave us a special menu and even wrapped it up for us as a memento. The waiter was incredible, he ask us questions allowed us to take our time even though it was close to their closing time and really just made the experience so much more special and enjoyable. How could I forget the food was incredible as well! We will most definitely be coming back!!!

    We are very selective eaters traveling the world for great food and wonderful restaurants. The food was excellent! Our server was very caring and attentive and the overall atmosphere was wonderful. We will definitely go back when we find ourselves back in Williamsburg.

    We were able to get a reservation for our Anniversary. We enjoyed every course. The scallops were cooked perfectly. The bread serving was perfect and kept you from getting overfill before your ordered items. Our waitress was able to handle our jokes. It was a great experience

    Cochon is our go to for fine dining in Williamsburg. Chef Neil Griggs is a very talented chef and is always coming up with new options. I love his potatoes and miss his fried onions with my rib eye. The environment at Cochon is very comfortable and we often just come in, sit at the bar, and order dinner and eat there. David is a great bartender, knowledgeable and very attentive to your needs. Support staff are wonderful as well, caring for your dining needs but not being intrusive.

    This was our first visit and it did not disappoint!! We had a reservation and was greeted warmly and was seated promptly. Our table was near the open kitchen which provided a relaxed yet sophisticated feel. We started with a smoked old fashioned and a bottle of wine. Both were very good! Our appetizer included the two soups of the night which were delicious, muscle bisque and tomato basil w/ a fried goat cheese square. It was a nice complement to balance the acidity of the tomato soup. We were offered rustic bread w/ ramekins of butter, yum! Our entrees were amazing as well. My husband ordered the duck and I ordered the salmon stuffed w/lump crab. So delicious and presented beautifully. The temperature of the appetizers and entrees were fresh and arrived hot! We finished with an espresso and shared the combination desert of chocolate mousse and creme brûlée. The service was amazing! We will definitely be back to celebrate another occasion soon.

    We went for the valentine dinner and everything was absolutely amazing. All interactions with staff felt very pleasant and genuine and our waitress was great. I had an elderberry martini that was the best cocktail I'd ever had. The steak was perfectly cooked and the sticky ribs were to die for. Everything was perfectly finished off by an amazing triple chocolate cheesecake that our waitress happened to make! It's fairly pricey but for a special occasion I don't think we could have picked a better restaurant to try.

    We returned here for our Valentine dinner, and we were not disappointed. The Salmon was done perfectly and the Beef Tenderloin was perfection. As always, we love the bread which doesn't sound like a big deal, but this is really good bread! The staff were super friendly and looked after our every wish. It was the busiest I'd ever seen it here, but they still managed to give a personal touch. I would recommend this fine dining without hesitation.

    My wife and I dined at Cochon on 2nd Street for Valentine's Day 2023 - we sat in the bar at a hightop table - We were seated right by the door - I thought the night was going to be a disaster - it was a fantastic evening - Jeremy the Bartender took great care of us and assisted us in swapping out dishes on the Prix Fixe Valentine's Day menu - the wait staff, Yvonne the hostess and the food runners were all incredibly pleasant and the food was superlative - we will be back to Cochon on secnd street on some other non-holiday evening for the delectable entrees and starters and the generaous cocktails crafted by Jeremy and the Bar team - Highly Recommended!!
