Need to book at 6:30 AM?Other great restaurants with availability.
The restaurant is simply stunning, the interior design truly lived up to the tag line “most romantic restaurant in the world”. The food was beyond belief, we started with a shoulder of rabbit followed by pork loin and we’ve eaten at expensive restaurants before but the food was worth every penny
We were very surprised with the impression we’ve got . Although the service was nice and we can’t complain, the food was a ‘shock’. This restaurant is so highly praised and so difficult to get in to, that we could not expect that the actual food experience would not be up to the level. We did not like the food at all. My husband’s seared tuna was on the tomato layer which completely overpowered the seared tuna; my burratta had lots of pickled accompaniments which did not fit well with the cheese itself. Main course cod was EXTREMELY salty to the point I could not even finish it, so as was spinach.. Lamb rack of my husband was nicely done but again accompanied by various pieces which were not fitting too great in to the overall dish . We were very disappointed that even decided to skip the desert ( although it was a birthday dinner!). I’m not sure if we were unlucky or it’s the general level, but we are surely not tempted to come back..
It was incredible! The food was amazing, good value for money and the staff was friendly!
Loved every second, the perfect lunch. Booked our next visit before we left.
The experience is worth every penny. I loved the atmosphere, food was delicious and service impeccable. I really liked that restaurant is small and makes you feel on a very special environment. Also despite is an above the average price is up to you how much to pay mainly on the wine selection that is HUGE. During our dinner a couple of anniversary celebrations and one proposal is definitely a very romantic place
This was a great place for a romantic meal! The wine is quite expensive per bottle, so some more reasonable wine options, in regards to price (~<£30), or a 'house wine' would have been nice. Overall the experience was great, staff were very approachable and pleasant. We will be going back on the next special occasion for sure! :D
Starters exceptional not too big. Mains good variety I had onion tart and delicious.
Great atmosphere for pre theatre supper. Busy but excellent service. Would visit again.
As always top class food and service - from the moment you enter until the moment you leave . This is my third visit and it has been consistently excellent.
Amazing as usual although my food wasn't as warm as I would have expected.
Amazing experience and food.
Will be back with my husband.
We had a truly wonderful meal . Great service, delicious fish and pasta, attentive service in a beautiful setting
We booked a table before a theatre visit and this was the perfect venue. Very convenient for theatres in the West End but more importantly a lovely place to have a relaxing dinner with great food at competitive prices (3 course set menu).
Outstanding service, went above and beyond to accommodate dietary restrictions of my guest.
A lovely place for a romantic lunch. Food excellent & service very attentive.
It was a lovely dinner, but it would have been better if we have had another table, just inside the main dining room. We were sitting in the middle of the corridor with the waiters coming up and down. Quite busy and noisy at this site. After that we talk with the Maître and changed us to the main dining room to finish our dinner With a tasty dessert in a very calm and charm atmosphere. We appreciate that. I would repeat but insisting on having a table inside the main dining room, which is lovely.
Really good experience, really romantic, i get why they have got the title of most romantic restaurant of the world. I recommend everyone to go here to have a amazing evening with amazing food
Lovely setting, although duration of meal we was served by 3 different waiters, plus sommelier. Dined there 3 times before, although food was quite heavy going, rather than fine dining expectation.
The food was fresh and perfectly prepared. Each dish looked like a work of art.
completely understand why it was voted as the most romantic restaurant in the world,
but it doesn't stop there it was beautiful but the food was outstanding ( by far the best we experienced in London) the service impeccable, the ambiance fairytale like . truly one
of the finest experiences ive had including places as NYC paris napa madrid etc
I loved the food, the service and the treat to my wife as it was her birthday. I would definitely repeat.
Everything was perfect the welcoming staff and the tasty food the place was cosy and lovely
Absolutely amazing - hands down the best restaurant I have ever been to and the most amazing food! The ambience is perfect you can actually sit down and talk. The food is exquisite! I cannot begin to describe. 5 out of 5! Thank you.
Beautiful setting, first class service, amazing food and wine. Perfect for an indulgent treat. The conservatory is as magical and romantic as everyone says it is.
Wonderful food. Lovely wine.
Great service. Class.
How this is not a michelin 3 star is beyond me...
Food and service are amazing! The atmosphere is beautiful- just a note it’s first come for the beautiful dining room with their fireplace and floral. We were sat next to the bar on the main floor across from where they bring out the food- high traffic and very distracting. I wouldn’t recommend that particular table but apart from that we loved it!
Food was superlative- service was poor - to the point of rudeness from the sommelier in three specific instances. Also - you are supposed to have your table for two and a half hours - we booked for 7.30 but had to wait for our table - and then were asked to leave it at 9.40 - before we had had coffee. We told waitress to come back and were asked again at 9.55 - fair enough - shifted into “lounge” - I have seen bigger bus shelters! No room to drink coffee so our guests left and we followed. What should have been a brilliant family celebration left me feeling disgruntled- a shame when the food is so good.
A restaurant worth its Michelin mention, fresh and moderately elaborate cuisine at very sensible prices (for the neighbourhood). The wine list is more than great (2000+ references), with known names and hidden gems.
Booked as part of a Christmas present for my wife and I.
We had a Pre-theatre menu, which considering the quality of the food, was great value at £29.95 for 3 courses including a glass of bubbles !
The service was also of a high standard, attentive, but never intrusive.
Arguably the most attractive restaurant I've dined in and a special mention to the Maitre'D, who ensured us a table in the Conservatory area of the restaurant.
Great dining experience from start to finish.
Delicious food in very pleasant surroundings . The staff were highly professional but also welcoming. The weekday lunch set menu seemed good value for food of that quality.
Food was excellent
Our waiter and the service was excellent
The ambience was excellent
Beautiful restaurant with very attentive and welcoming staff.
This is the second time I have visited and the food was just as good, if not better than the first visit. The chef really does showcase seasonal produce to its best. Outstanding presentation on each of the dishes.
Staff were friendly the atmosphere was perfect.
We would definitely recommend to couples for an intimate dinner or or date night, a special occasion for friends and families (older children though, not really suitable for younger guests) pre-theatre treats are a must!!
We will definitely be returning.
To all at Clos Maggoire, Thank You!
This is one of the most beautiful restaurants in London. The service is first class as is the food. I have been going here since it was just Maggiore and if anything it has got better. Lovely experience.
Wonderful experience. Great food and attentive service.
Price was quite high with a dinner for 2 with drinks costing £240. Not extortionate, but quite expensive and the only reason not to award 5 stars.
The food was fantastic and the ambiance was amazing. There are two reasons that I am not giving five stars. For one, I booked long enough in advance and specifically requested to be in the main room and when we got there they were not able to accommodate us in the main room, which is the real attraction. The upstairs room was nice, but not what I was expecting when we arrived. Also, it seemed a bit rushed. I understand this is the theater district and they want people to get to their shows on time, but it felt as if they were trying to move tables.
