Clos Maggiore is an oasis of calm in the heart of Covent Garden. Influenced by the stylish country inns of Provence and Tuscany its unique interiors create a warmth and intimacy enjoyed by both business and private parties. The conservatory has a fully retractable glass roof creating a bright and airy dining space. Our extensive cellar at Clos Maggiore includes over 2,000 labels and was extended earlier this year to include an additional 400 wines at a low – mid price range. We are very proud to have been awarded the “Best of Award of Excellence” consistently since 2003 by Wine Spectator.

Available Monday to Friday from 9pm to 10:30pm and on Sunday from 9pm to 10pm. - 3 course set menu including a glass of bubbles and a box of chocolate at £39.50 per person, excluding discretionary service charge at 12.5% - 48 hours cancellation policy from the date of booking, cancellation this period will incur a charge of £40.00 per person to the card provided. - We welcome children above the age of 14 years for dinner

    Lovely setting, pretty flowers but very sterile and small portions. We chose the pre theatre dinner menu for three of us. The onion soup was a tiny portion, it didnt even encircle the little souffle in the middle. very weird and the waiter just ignored our expression of surprise when the soup was poured into the dish. The fish portion was also very tiny and the apple crumble about the size of a cup coaster. The staff hardly smiled and it felt like we were being processed for the next customers to arrive. The pork was underdone and fatty. Very pink. When I asked why it was underdone he said it could not be as it had been cooked for 8 hours. Seems very odd to argue with a customer. Such a pity as we had been lookiing forward to the meal but it seemed the staff did not realy want customers or had any interest in hearing our opinion of the food.

    Excellent food and beverage. Tremendous service. Staff knows their food, wine and more. A pleasure to be there and celebrate a special occasion.

    Food was presented well but the portions are very small. Ordered Red Mullet not much bigger than a small sardine! Ordered Lamb received one lamb chop. The other issue is was a complete lack of seasoning on everything, the food was desperate for a little seasoning. Complete shame as the food is presented well, great wine list, good service. A few improvements to portion size and a bit of seasoning it would have been perfect.
