Had an early meal at 3:45 prior to an event scheduled 5:30 - 7:30. Seated at a requested high top in the bar area, as we had reservations. Opted for small plates/sides to split between us: scallops (4), butternut squash ravioli (8), julienned summer squashes/carrots, and the Parmesan truffle fries. The food was heavenly! And our server was excellent, informative and attentive without being intrusive. We loved her! We topped it off with a chocolate cake made to order with a fudgey raspberry sauce, crowned with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Yum! Highly recommend.

Great place. Outstanding wait staff and excellent chefs and kitchen. Nice to sit outside when the weather is nice. Inside seating is also good. Went there for lunch on Sunday with 3 friends. Highly recommend Clintons for lunch or dinner.

Unfortunately, the food we selected during this past visit was a real miss. 2 guests chose the vegetarian option: a squash ravioli. We should have sent both entrees back. they were so full of sugar they could not be eaten. The lobster ravioli ordered by the 3 guest was better but swimming in a heavy cream sauce -- it was more like soup than pasta. What is dissappointing is that the salads were good and some of the appetizers and pizza. We may have chosen the wrong items -- however, the chef should know that these items missed their mark and could have been prepared differently to be more inline with what I believe a common reaction. Otherwise this is a good restaurant and worth a visit when in Clinton.

We had a 7:00 reservation for a high top and it was clear that they seated others and did not hold our reservation. They had a very lame excuse, very disappointed! But as always the food was excellant!
