Good service. Good food!
My wife and I ate there on our 7th Anniversary.
Great choice and great food!
Clinkerdagger is a Spokane favorite. Quality and attention to detail are hallmarks of this excellent restaurant. You can't go wrong with Clinkerdagger.
Outstanding server named Jeff. I said how much I like the hazelnut salmon and he made sure that I got it since it was not on the menu. Jeff gives 110% customers.
So my husband and I went here for New Year’s Eve. When we chose a place, it was between here or Anthony’s. I kind of wish we had gone to Anthony’s. First, I will say the staff at the front desk were wonderful. However, we did not get a seat by the windows to see the falls. That was one of the biggest reasons we went here, the reviews said an amazing view of the falls. What isn’t said is there are no guarantees of sitting by a window. Which sucked. The waiter acted like we were poor when I ordered water to drink the first time around and could not hold back his surprise when I ordered the lobster tails for dinner. Some people just love water. Seriously. The waiter wasn’t extremely nice until AFTER I ordered an appetizer, and a alcoholic drink, and the lobster tails. After that he was much nicer. Also, I was dressed extremely nicely and still he treated me like I was trash after the water until we ordered some expensive things. I will say, the butter sauce for my lobster was amazing. My husband loved the meat loaf Wellington. We both loved the Brie for our appetizer. The dessert, the creme brûlée (called burnt cream here), was to die for. I strongly also suggest the lavender cosmopolitan. It was really good. But, all in all, I wish we had gone to Anthony’s. One more disappointment was the fact I was told by several people to try the escargot, only the find out that they no longer even have it on the menu. I have never had snails in my life and was excited to try it. I wouldn’t go back for the price, especially for $160+ tip, to be treated badly for ordering a water to start.
We have eaten at ClinkerDaggers many times and always enjoyed our meals. I booked our reservation more than a month in advance for an early NYE dinner. I included a request for a window table. When we arrived we were initially given a very cramped 2 person tiny table near the bar which was total.y unacceptable. Yhehost finally gave us a nice booth in a lighted area in the west side of the restaurant. Although not a window we were able to see outside lights and the room itself was nicely lit with lights and it felt comfortable. The waitress, although very busy, provided friendly and very efficient service. We had a great meal and mygusband was very happy that the stuffed sole was back on the menu. I had the Wagu easygrill steak which was cooked perfectly. It was
The ambiance and food was amazing. I requested a table by the water and the backdrop was beautiful and the restaurant was decorated for the holidays.
Wonderful as always!
We made a 6:15 reservation and they were running about 15 minutes behind schedule. Somehow they checked us in and then lost us in their system. After 25 minutes of waiting, we asked how much longer and they realized their mistake. Then we didn't get a server assigned to our table so we waited another 15 minutes after being seated and finally had to go back to the hostess stand and ask for a server. They gave us free appetizers and dessert which was nice but overall it was a very stressful evening. The food is good but not great and it's really expensive. Not our favorite place. Our kids like it which is why we went but I'm not sure we'll ever go back after this last experience.
Always a pleasure to go to Clinks! Great view and fantastic service. A true asset to Spokane
Unusual wait time to receive our main courses. 40-45 minutes, otherwise everything was excellent as always.
Took 3 teenage grandchildren for annual Christmas vacation dinner. As usual great experience. Love those kids!,
Outstanding as always. Great atmosphere/view. Really good food, great selection. Staff is very social and professional. Expensive, but worth every cent. No doubt my most favorite place to eat in the inland northwest.
Christmas dinner at Clinkerdaggers is wonderful. The space is tasteful in decorations for the season. The food and service is always top notch.
We have been here 3 times since we moved to Spokane 6 months ago. We will be back again! Service and food are unmatched!
We celebrated our engagement there and the staff was excellent even provided a desert of our choice. We will make Clinkerdaggers a tradition for our Christmas dinner.
View was great as was service, but value for food not so much. Not bad, just not great for the prices.
We have enjoyed many special occasions at Clinkerdaggers and the food is always great. Be sure to ask for a window seat because the view of the river and falls is amazing. We have always had great service and wonderfully pleasant staff to make our special occasions memorable.
Absolutely my favorite! Great food, wonderful ambience and friendly and professional staff.
Clinkerdagger's is THE place for fantastic salmon which is to die for! On a very busy Christmas Eve night, they offered free appetizers since our food was delayed and were extremely apologetic for the delay and for not having some menu choices.
Fantastic Christmas Eve dinner
A wonderful place to celebrate Christmas Eve with family, great food, drinks and customer service. The prime rib was fantastic and the salmon was delightful. The burnt cream is a must to satisfy my sweet tooth.
It was a lovely time, I went with my daughter and her boyfriend for a Christmas Eve lunch. It had beautiful view over the river and the Flour Mill shops were very quaint.
Amazing evening! Cannot wait for another evening to spend here with family!
I celebrated the holidays with a girlfriend for lunch. Everything was perfect, the food, the wine, the conversation and our server. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a unique setting over looking the Spokane River.
Great meal, wonderful service!
I have noticed that the food has gone down hill the past few times I have been there, but this past weekend, we decided to give it one more try for a special occasion and that turned out to be a mistake. One person at our table ordered Chicken Dijon which was completely burned on one side of the the breading and my wife's meatloaf was also burned on the outside of the puff pastry it was wrapped in. We had a wonderful waiter and the view was beautiful, but not worth $200 for terrible food. We won't be going back unless we skip the food and just have a drink in bar.
Their reward system is very generous. The food is great lunch or dinner.
Clinks never disappoints! From their exciting happy hour specials to their ever changing menu, this location is not to be missed. And did I mention the view of the falls? Amazing!
Had a great birthday dinner. Service and food were exceptional.
Always a great experience—great service, outstanding food and dessert.
The only reason my review isn’t 5 stars this time is they didn’t cook my steak correctly. Even after sending it back it still wasn’t correct but the staff was wonderful and they ended up comping the meal. It was disappointing because we go there for the steaks and prime rib and they have never messed up before. I will be back and would still recommend. They just had an off night with us that night!😬😀
Clam chowder had to much bacon that’s all we could taste. Shrimp and crab dip tasted old. We didn’t eat half our food and it was a hefty bill.
We had a wonderful lunch foursome with at a window table with a spectacular view of the river. The open-face crab sandwich with New England clam chowder was a perfect choice. All of the food was outstanding as was the service. Very nice, cozy atmosphere as well.
Great food and service. High prices
Always amazing at Clinkerdagger
Nice location. Good overall menu. Great efficient service. The steelhead salmon was really outstanding.
Excellent food, in particular the lobster bisque and the creme brûlée. Wait staff is always knowledgeable and pleasant. Beautiful Christmas decor!
Always reliably great. The service is wonderful and the staff remember me and greet us warmly. The fresh sheet is innovative and seasonal, while the main menu carries time-honored favorites. Great wines by the glass with a lot of options by varietal and blend. Also love the rewards program—straightforward and not gimmicky, just dollar points that turn to straight credit. It’s no wonder Clinkerdagger has been around for decades and still thriving.
Clinkerdagger is an amazing restaurant....great food and awesome staff. I think they said they have been open for 44 years and I have personally loved them for 30 plus. Thank you Clinkerdagger for being a staple in our community.
