The food was amazing and so were the drinks. The service was mediocre but still enjoyed our Sunday brunch.
I love this place. Slightly pricey, but the food is excellent and works for a variety of diets. Lovely patio, and Thursday oysters are $1.
i love this place. the food's awesome and the back patio dining area feels like i'm having dinner in fairy land.
Loved the mimosas and the smoked salmon breakfast.
One of the best dining patios in all of LA, with tiered seating around a huge canopied tree & colorful chic cushions on banquettes & warm candlelit tables at night. The bar is a great place for a romantic dinner or to meet up with friends. The bar lighting is dim, the decor is a fun mix of antiques & great textiles and the playlist feels like your cool friend created it just for you. Service is always friendly. Benny, a managing partner, knows his way around a wine list so there will always be something delicious to recommend that won't break the bank. Menu is sophisticated and well rounded. Just a special place to dine & hang.
Great breakfast brunch. Veggie hash and biscuits with bacon and a common space sour All terrific!
First dinner date.
Wonderful brunch with my grandchildren. Setting is great. Food was great. Reservation honored even with crowd waiting. Just nice.
Love this spot! It’s gorgeous, great food and doesn’t blast terrible music.
Cool classic joint. Food was amazing. Had to wait for table despite Rez but not too long (15-20min). Not too high end price wise but not on the cheap side either. Would definitely go back.
always amazing..... how many years later and still going strong? We DID have to wait an excess of 20 minutes for our table which we reserved in advance, but luckily the bar was accommodating and let us sit down while we waited.
One of the best dinners I’ve ever had! Still talking about it! Never has Cliff’s Edge disappointed. They also accommodated a request for a specific table area during their Saturday night dinner rush (Thanks Benny!).
I came here with a friend I haven’t seen in years so we had a lot of catching up to do, and the servers were very understanding of that and didn’t rush us out. We ordered the truffle fries to share and then the ricotta pancakes and the smoked salmon dish. Everything was delicious and I would love to come back again soon. The only downside was parking, which was difficult to find nearby if you don’t want to pay for valet.
Cute date place. Really romantic and beautiful. Food is good, drinks are good but cocktails and wine menu a bit limited. Service was excellent.
Not sure how I never found this place before—rather pricey, and we were seated up high which isn’t the most convenient thing for us or the waiters, but it’s so cool! And the rolls were really good.
Cliffs Edge is an excellent restaurant. The four of us went there for a celebratory meal and it was the best meal that I have had in a while. We also love the setting and the ambiance. Highly recommended.
Party of two for a Sunday brunch, sat out on the patio and had a great meal and experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant and I will definitely go back.
A beautiful, warm place to enjoy a delicious bite with close friends.
Gorgeous restaurant but the majority of our 7 person party was surprisingly disappointed with our entrees.
I am a local, and have been coming here for 11 years, and most of the time I have been very satisfied, - the outside setting is fabulous, and the food and service are usually very good. My last visit in February 2020 was disappointing mainly because the service was so slow even though we arrived early to avoid the evening rush, and my main course was unusually disappointing. I will come here again in the hope that this was just bad luck.
Hidden Gem! This restaurant is such an unexpected delight. You feel like you are in a romantic treehouse. The twinkling lights and awesome decorate transport you to a different place...doesn’t feel like you’re in the middle of LA.
Beautiful space with great quality food and service!
The ambiance with the lights was very cute and perfect for a date night
Saw something crawling on our appetizer, told the waiter, he took it to the kitchen and said he couldn’t find anything.. didn’t touch it since my wife and I saw something crawling on it.
we loved it. perfect service,
delicious foos, beautiful ambiance
What a cute place! The atmosphere was wonderful. The service was great! The food was amazing!!!! Can’t wait to come back!
What a cozy spot-and what glorious food! The Brussels sprouts were smashing, as was the smoked salmon. Rarified breakfasts!
Seating was a bit close but food was delicious and ambience wonderful.
Nice place, look like a tree house. A bit load to hold a conversation. Food is good a little pricey. Overall a good place and romantic, just keep in mind it gets loud.
I’m sorry but I may not be used to fine dining but come on. We first ordered a carafe of Pinot for $40 and dozen oysters for $36. The oysters were very small and not meaty at all. The chicken liver appetizer was ok but also only four pieces. I ordered the scallops and pork belly dinner plate priced at $38 and all I received were three pieces of scallops, two overly charred pieces of pork with all mixed within a bay of veggies and sauce. My girlfriend had the squid fettuccine which was okay. So although the outdoor lighting was pretty, the actual lighting was pretty poor so I could not tell what I was eating but I could not find anymore food on the plate. This was my first and last time I will come here. After all the raving reviews from the nice space and ambiance, my expectation was high. Well after paying $250 and being seated next to the entrance doorway next to the parking lot so we had a draft, I left hungry and disappointed.
The atmosphere is nice and different that a typical LA restaurants. They don't have a variety of foods.
10/10 Would come back and try dinner with friends!
Not for dinner, I been there before for brunch and it’s much better.
Dinner was just ok potatoes were hard and the salad was had way too much dressing and no flavor
Amazing food , super fast service , great space . Only real complaint is that we were elbow to elbow with the table next to us.
Excellent food, great ambiance
One of the worst service experiences I've had at a resteraunt from start to finish
One of my favorite restaurants in LA. Great place to spend time with friends and enjoy a great meal.
Great food and champagne. Bacon is amazing! Beautiful place in a very busy LA!
Excellent very chill restaurant. Excellent food and cocktails and ambience is fantastic
Consistently delightful place with delicious food, great service and lovely ambiance.
