Probably the coziest secret garden in all of Silverlake. I just wish they were open for lunch.
Food arrived at a reasonable time and was at the right temp. Attentive service without being overbearing. Slightly difficult to locate due to no signage.
It is a nice place, but the food was just ok, nothing that would make me want to come back. I think the food is overpriced for something that is just average. the service was good, but nothing to write home about either.
My favorite place for brunch and special occasions.
Had brunch here on a Saturday. They just removed shakshuka from their menu, which is disappointing since that was the one dish I wanted to get. I ended up ordering an egg benedict with avacado. It was as expected, but nothing special. I think if you're looking for a nice brunch place, it's a good option. But I wouldn't come here for the food.
My husband and I opted for the Dine LA menu. So good. So much food for a very reasonable price! Also, amazing drinks.
Was really good night drink and food
Definitely go here if You’re hoping to enjoy the beautiful California weather! We went on a chilly Sunday but they had heat lamps and blankets to borrow. Wish they had a Malbec wine but overall the selection was great. The layout is unusual which makes it perfectly charming and cozy.
From service, food to ambience all perfect!
Will recommend to all our friends, made for the perfect date night!
Great food and service. Excellent wine. The outside seating is very cute, the bar area is busy and fun
Food was just okay and very pricey for the quality, server was professional but not friendly, but the patio was amazingly beautiful!
Oh my, what a wonderful all around experience - from host to wait staff, ambiance and more!
Cliff's Edge has a great ambience and the food is tasty.
From the Tahitian squash soup and the persimmon and burrata to the chocolate pot de crème everything was absolutely delicious and the service was perfectly attentive. Love the patio atmosphere and even on a cold evening, it was toasty warm with the heaters going. Can’t wait to go back!
Delicious food in a cozy place. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. All the food we ordered was delicious.
No music. Slow service. Fixed menu I had no idea about. Looked good on yelp and open table.... but didn’t in person. won’t be back.
Very nice dinner. Excellent entrees.
A perfect New Year’s dinner in every way! Fantastic Pre Fix menu, stellar service and warm atmosphere. The food was so deliciously prepared that I can honestly say it was one of the most memorable meals I’ve had in a very long time. Cliff’s Edge is a terrific choice for any special occasion and also love their brunch menu as well.
For people that like to eat but also like a nicely designed environment to do it in. Yay tree.
My new favorite restaurant, a little pricey for me but not for what it is: beautiful, creative, unusual, and generally first-rate.
Second time there and once again everything was great. Unique indoor/outdoor dining with loads of very pleasant ambience. Cool, Christmas Eve temperatures were no problem under the covered patio with plenty of heaters. Everything ordered by our group of four was delicious - along with very a personable waitress. Drink prices were perhaps a little on the high side, but will certainly be returning.
Wonderful on every level
Staff, Food, Wine list all top notch. A very cool and unique place on the edge of Sunset....cannot wait to return
My date said it was the perfect date. Best compliment which perfectly matched the best restaurant.
Food was good however the service was pretty unremarkable considering we were the only ones there for the first hour. Had issues with their outdoor heating system all night with very little concern or care. Had to move ourselves to a different table after concerns one of the has heaters was malfunctioning and making disturbing loud popping noises. “That happens all the time....usually you can’t hear it when we are busy”. Not very reassuring. The other heater went out at least 4 times during the meal which is not very comfortable when it’s in the 50s outside.
Anyway we have been coming here for six years each anniversary where we had our first date but not sure we will be returning.
Honestly, this place exceeded our expectations. They are either very quietly confident or just super low key about how good their food actually is. Everything was very skillfully done. Impressive.
I love the outdoor/bohemian atmosphere, and the food was terrific, from the imaginative cocktails to the butter lettuce salad to the charred broccolini to the crispy whole branzino. Service was perfect. I'll definitely be back.
Great spot to take folks from out of town!
We started our evening out with a drink at the bar. The music was a little loud but the ambience was perfect. We both tried different signature drinks, both were exceptional. The bartender service was at a level you’d expect from a fancy establishment.
The hostess let us know that all we needed to do was return to her when we were ready to be seated at our dining table. Once we are finished with the drinks we hurried over to the see the hostess again and We were seated immediately.
The mini was fantastic the service exceptional and the food at a level I expected. My only complaint, and it’s a big one for me, the restaurant was dirty. The big mirrors on the wall needed cleaning and there was dust everywhere. Being the restaurant dining area is an outside environment, I do understand there will be some things that you are unable to control, but cleaning the mirrors?
Overall we had a really nice evening and because of the service will definitely will return. But please do a better job cleaning or hire an outside cleaning company.
Food was delicious. Server was able to give some recommendations for Vegan entree's, even went back to speak with the chef for us. The back section with the tree in the middle was really cool to sit in. Excellent all around!
On a 5-star scale, I would give Cliff’s Edge a TEN on ambience, service, and food. This is our family’s favorite restaurant, and we always carve out an evening to enjoy Cliff’s Edge when I am in LA to visit.
Amazing food. Fun and cool atmosphere. Great service.
My fav place in LA! The open air ‘jungle’ dining area is like nothing else. Food was outstanding as always. The salmon/hash brown brunch entree was freakin amazing! Cocktails need a boost but will always come back.
AMAZING!!! from as soon as you step in!!!
Ambience so pleasant.
Will be back . HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
We had really great experience for Sunday brunch. Love all the food in this restaurant.
The food, ambiance and service are delightful.
I'd reccomend it for someone in the area. We drove from South OC and that's a bit far for this restaurant. They rush you through pretty quick making a 2 1/2 hour drive for a 75 minute meal a little silly. But the food was very good and the ambiance is fantastic.
Cozy, and a really cool atmosphere. The signature cocktails were really good. Interesting, unique, and delicious without being overpowering. Our waitress made great recommendations, and we really had a lovely meal. I had the branzino, so good! And the chimichurri sauce put it over the top. My wife had the squid ink pasta, and enjoyed it very much.
Great ambiance - feels like you are dining in an adult tree house. Food was solid as we would recommend the Parker rolls, snapper, mushroom papperdelle, and pan roasted chicken. Corkage is $25 and Valet is $7.
Service from our main waiter was bad as he was gone for long periods of time - thankfully everyone else picked up the slack. No acknowledgement of my wife’s birthday so that was a bummer.
Beautiful dining space, cozy dark bar area. Good interesting menu. Reasonable prices, super courteous low-key staff. Stand-out element is the ambiance.
