Food upon reopening was not as stellar as previous. Cleo used to be my fave restaurant in La. service was AMAZING. But please - get back some of those skewers and the ravioli on the menu. Were worth the wait and drive just for those options. And the vinebury.

This place is gorgeous inside but after they reopened from a long remodeling process, they changed their menu and removed most steak items- which is a shame because that skirt steak is the best in town and now it can only be ordered at the Cleo on 3rd which is not nearly as nice of a location. Both restaurants have limited wines by the glass and the drinks are WAY overpriced. Their hummus and pita bread are sensational, although the Hollywood Cleo is now just not as good as the original version or the one still on 3rd street.

The food was good but the portions are small. The worst thing was the noise level. We could barely hear each other. However, it’s really convenient for a nibble before a show at the Pantages.

I'm new to Mediterranean food and was not adventurous enough to try the seafood or vegetable entrees. Instead, I had the Chicken Kabob and potatoes. I also tried the rice, which was surprisingly delicious (again, I have a boring pallet). I wish there were would have been a little more variety in the boring food department for people like. It was pretty much chicken or steak kabob as the two options. The service was spectacular, the ambiance incredible, and the overall experience something to write home about. Would definitely come back.

The food wasn’t as good as before the revamp. Atmosphere and design felt thrown together and lacking; was much nicer and more comfortable before. Anton at the bar was lovely as was our waitress.

Our first time back after the remodel and we were disappointed to see the menu change. Some dishes still executed well and others not so much. Our server was distracted for most of our time so all in all not the same experience as before.

We didn't eat a lot but had perfect dishes. The lamb and apricot tagine was terrific. At first you think "hmm, this is a small-ish dish for a main course", but it is not, it is full of tender gorgeously flavored lamb with apricots, date puree, sesame, other delicious things, served with perfectly made Basmati rice. Then: we ordered pistachio ice cream and asked whether we could have some slices of one of the elements of a platter of different sweets, the Halvah. Of course. Heavenly. Good wine and beer, too.

Having eaten here when it first opened (as well as the Las Vegas and Downtown locations), the food was very lackluster. No standout dishes or flavors. Service was fine. The interior is rather blah- I feel like it’s been redecorated since it first opened as I remembered it being much more attractive. Unfortunately won’t return.

Second time was not a charm. Service was abysmal. I ordered sparkling water which the waiter confirmed was Pellegrino, he left us Perrier without saying why and ran off, finally asked a hostess that came by and she said they dont carry Pellegrino. The rest of the "service" was non-existent and ruined the dinner. I had to ask hostess twice to find my water who appeared to intentionally not see me after walking by 4-5 times always looking away, noticed he had the time to chat with other customers. Food was all good but priced to include service which was not provided.

My daughter is a vegan & there were 3 options for vegans—one was mushroom Tacos & when they came my daughter said is this meat—it feels like meat in my mouth?!! We ask our waiter who takes it back to the kitchen and comes back & says it’s LAMB! I hit the wrong thing for your order—Not I’m so sorry once:-/ we just said please bring our Check & again he never said I’m sorry! My daughter hasn’t eaten meat in 15 years!!! She was pretty upset but made me tip 18% for All the others that share it!

The waitress and servers were attentive and courteous but the kitchen was extremely slow getting out food. We ordered several appetizers and one crispy chicken entree, letting the staff know we had Pantages show tickets and a one-hour deadline to meet. The drinks arrived promptly as did the oysters (no cooking required) but the cooked appetizers took about 30 minutes and it took over 50 minutes for the single chicken entree to arrive. The entree was a small drumstick and thigh, with scattered decorative herbs, making the portion more of an appetizer than a meal. Luckily we weren't very hungry. There were few people in the restaurant on a Thursday night so perhaps the kitchen was understaffed. I would go back for light appetizers and drinks but look elsewhere for a hearty meal and conversation. It was surprising loud in our corner for the few people filling less than half the tables. Might be unbearably loud with a full house.

Nothing monumental about the restaurant. Pretty noisy and poor service. Not a great value for money option. I don't think it's worth going for a full meal experience. It's only okay for a couple of drinks with some pita and dips. The service was not even mediocre.

After many visits to the old Cleo we were happy to see this location re-open. The menu, while modified, is still consistently excellent. Service was pleasant and accommodating but off — some small plates came first, followed by our overpriced drinks, followed by all the other courses, and finally our olives and pickles arrived last. The valet, at $20, is one of the biggest ripoffs on earth. I cannot recall paying such an exorbitant rate even at places that are far swankier and in busier locations. To pay that at Hollywood and Vine is a joke and the main reason we will not return.

The food was great, but took a little long once we ordered. Brussel sprouts and Mediterranean dips with fresh baked pita were amazing, and the steak kabob was perfectly cooked. We’d skip the rice, potatoes and chicken kabobs next time and try something new. Would have loved to try a salad, but the Greek we ordered never came. Old fashioned’s were also delicious!

Before the remodel, we were great fans. This is our first time back and we usually go when we go to the Pantages, so 5-6 times a year. Food was good although the choices are now much smaller than they were. Service was anything but good. Some of the wait staff had an attitude. Impatience when asking menu questions is not pretty. My wife finished her glass of wine and rather than ask her if she wanted another, the waitress just picked up the glass. We had to ask someone bussing tables to find her to order another it tok quite a while to find her. We were there early so it wasn't like they were crowded. I don't know what changed but the change is sad.
