   Went for the fish-n-chips and they were good. The rest of my tablemates were not as impressed. Had we known it was trivia night we may have opted for some place else. That was a little distracting while we were trying to carry on a conversation. Our waitress was fantastic, she did a tremendous job and was able to find that perfect balance between not hovering around us, yet always available. Still might go back, just for the fish-n-chips.

   We came to Claddagh for a bite before a big concert downtown. The manager on duty was very nice - he found my credit card after I left it on the table and kept it safe for me until I returned after the concert to retrieve it. Food was good and service, while the place was hectic, was very polite.

   Pleasant server and mexiocre food. I can’t recall any surface I touched that didn’t feel greasy. Was served a Bloody Mary that aside from being red bore no resemblance to the menu description.

   The server was attentive and upbeat. The food was delicious, a combination of classic Irish fare and creative modern twists on Irish classics. Cocktails were affordable and well mixed. Desserts were very well priced, large enough to share, and fabulous. I look forward to visiting Claddagh again soon.

   We were looking forward to going here based on the menu online. We had planned out everything that we were going to order. When we sat down everything we were going to order was not on the menu handed to us. We were told that due to a convention in town that weekend, they changed their menu for the weekend. (We were there Sunday evening after said convention had ended.) We were disappointed, but order different food. What came was sub par and overcooked and/or burnt. The server was friendly, but seemed to be the only one working, so was not attentive. This establishment is located downtown a city block away from the convention center. I would assume there are conventions almost every weekend. Do they slice their menu and staff in half every weekend? Maybe you can only get the "good food" during the week?

   The restaurant and food were great the only reason it a 4 star is because me and my date are both under 21 and we had to stay upfront witch sucks because looked like a really cool place to look around in.

   We went in for trivia and dinner. Even though the place was crowded, our waiters were great. Cocktails were awesome! Get the elderberry one.
