A new generation of Italian cuisine - fresh, light and authentic. By using proper cooking techniques, our flavors are natural and pure. Our menu is a homage to our region Calabria and southern Italian roots reflecting what is being served in Italy today. You can also find an extensive vegan menu that incorporates many of the best Italian dishes. We have been the first restaurant in the USA to have a full Italian Vegan menu since 2015! We believe in sustainability, both in our food and in the design of our restaurant. While our menu focuses on locally grown and seasonal ingredients, our bar and dining areas were created using reclaimed, natural materials. Nothing goes to waste at Civico 1845!

    Recomiendo ampliamente CIVICO por su buen ambiente, excelente servicio y sus pastas muy buenas. Recomiendo la lasaña , el tiramisú y por supuesto sus vinos italianos.

    Food was decent but we've eaten at many restaurants in Little Italy and this gets a B grade from our particular visit. Service was just OK, waiter not informative or engaging, nothing wrong but nothing to rave about either. Loud patron at the bar whose voice could be heard over everything else.

    We dined at Cívico on a couple other occasions and really enjoyed it. Tonight was a different story. Our server Antonio (I only know his name because I asked him) spoke only a few words to us throughout our meal. His first and most words were something to the effect of “do you know what you want?” or “Are you ready to order?” No introduction of himself, the menu or wine list. We ordered one app, four entrees, wine, after dinner drinks and one dessert. The server seemed rushed and uninterested in making any suggestions. All of us felt like he offered the bare minimum of service required by his job. The caprese salad was nice. Three of the four of us liked our entrees. I did not enjoy the veal scalopine and should have sent it back, but I was less than confident our server would have handled that correctly and I preferred to concentrate on my guests with whom I was trying to celebrate. In the end, I was anxious to leave. Unfortunately, I’m certain we won’t return due mainly to our server.

    I came here once like 10 years ago, and it was great. Last night, I had a friend visiting from AZ so booked a reservation. Hostess was nice and promptly got us in.....then we waited...and waited....and waited. It felt like a good 30 mins until we got a drink ordered. Drinks were delivered, and no one ever came back to take our order. After what felt like another 40 minutes, I flagged down someone and asked to have our order taken. This new manager said he was on day 3 of employment. He put our order in since the server was still MIA....food was decent. No one ever really checked in on us the whole meal...we would have ordered more drinks or dessert. Finally, when it was time to pay, the original server showed up. I mentioned I was disappointed in the service (I rarely complain, past server here), and the dude came up with excuses and brushed off my remarks like they weren't valid. It literally took 3 full hours for a table of 2 to dine at your restaurant due to the extremely slow service. We still tipped because we aren't a-holes, but I'm surprised the restaurant management didn't try to do anything for us, the forgotten table. I will not be recommending this restaurant to any of my friends or clients.

    Stopped in for a girls dinner at *Civico 1845* to catch up with an old friend, and this spot delivered the perfect setting. The restaurant has a small, intimate vibe — ideal for conversation without feeling too tucked away. Service was just right: attentive without hovering, letting us chat away without interruption. We only made it through a Caesar salad and a couple glasses of wine (too much catching up, not enough chewing!), but both were solid enough to have us planning a return visit. The ambiance is charming and low-key, and we’re excited to come back hungrier and try more of the menu. Perfect for a relaxed night with good company — and definitely worth a second round.

    I wish I could remember our servers name but she was incredible! She accommodated our request to move tables when the sun decided to come out and was scorching us and we moved inside with no problem. Our waitress was bright and happy the whole time and the food was amazing! Definitely will be back and hope that waitress will be there again.
