   Great food, service and views from this high end restaurant. The food is constructed to show it at its best and the menu has plenty to offer. It isn’t everyday dining but more of a special occasion.

   The food sets this restaurant apart, it was absolutely delicious and perfectly presented. The service was not bad but not exceptional either for a Michelin starred restaurant and I had to send one piece of cutlery back to the kitchen because it was sticky and dirty.. overall it was a pleasant experience with exceptional food

   A great find. I can’t believe I’ve never been here before! It was a last minute booking the Thursday before Christmas and as you can imagine the restaurant was full. Despite this the service was excellent, the food delicious and at no point did we feel rushed or ignored.

   Great service, great food and great atmosphere. The dishes were original and beautifully presented. We had a lovely time there for our Christmas meal. We will definitely go back.

   Fantastic food, wine is overpriced, we had to wait 50 mins for our table which was annoying as they didn’t look that busy, they did give us free drinks to compensate. Food was really excellent though.

   The food was amazing as always but i was very disappointed with our table. We booked a table for 3 and we arrived we were given a table for 2. Instead of giving us the table we had booked, they added a chair to the side of the table which left me cramped and sitting uncomfortably. I mentioned this to our waiter who said that he would move us as soon as a table became available. The table not far from us did become available and was more than enough room for 3 people but instead of moving us, they seated a party of 2 there instead.

   Not up to the standard of Pollen St. Waiter had no knowledge of the cheeses when the board arrived, without crackers. Having ordered a Souffle (20 minute wait time, which was fine) this arrived beforehand. Could have lined up the cheese in that 20 minute period to arrive the same time so the ice cream hadn't melted into the Souffle whilst waiting for the chesse! Starter was very good (Lobster) but main lacked seasoning/flavour and seemed like a mix of elements that did not blend well. A shame as we love Pollen St, this was not in the same class and pricey for what it delivered, when compared. Nice setting.

   The guy who took our order (who seemed fairly senior) had a stroppy face the whole time and seemed like he did not want to be there. Had zero personality and zero people skills. Ordered the steak (which was perfect) but it just came with chips. Waiter should have suggested some veg or other sides when taking our order. Plate seemed a little empty without anything else. Waited a long time to get our drinks and had to ask where they were. The bar had a private event which was so loud and noisy. Lastly, the menu has changed since I last went and is not as good as before. Wouldn’t hurry back tbh.

    I know it sounds silly, but the windows were so dirty ! When part of the reason for booking is thew view it really did spoil things. The waitress said they had a robot that cleans the windows, I think they need to put some WD40 in that thing ! The service was atrocious - I was planning a boozy lunch with clients, left sober after 3 hours as it took that long to order myself 3 vodka lemonades, each time of getting one took 3/4 attempts of asking various staff... My clients didn't even get to order what they wanted, a bottle of red and white were plonked on the table... when we finally managed to get a member of staff and ask why it transpired they were for another table !! Luckily they took these off our bill, but at non stage were we asked if we were happy, whether we wanted anything else etc etc. Onto the food - average at best, I had a steak which was extremely average (fillet) any restaurant in London does better... when you consider a Hawsksmoor or Goodmans 400g is £35 and these guys are charging £42 you get the idea !!! Clients didn't seem to rave over theirs either.... it was all very average food Which brings you onto the prices, this is one of the most expensive places I have been - not an issue when the food/service and view are the reason.... but to spend a fortune to eat in a grubby place with average food and terrible service was a bit sickening.
