Citrus Grillhouse is an American bistro-style casual seaside eatery. Dishes are simple classics with Italian and Mediterranean inspired origins. Executive Chef Scott Varricchio’s creative plates have been described as ‘approachable comfort food bursting with flavor’. The menu changes with the seasons using regionally grown produce and fresh locally caught seafood, featuring the highest quality of ingredients.

Stick with favorites but be careful to ask if there have been any canges... the hummus, which is normally terrific because it is normally served with warm Pita, came without bread except for the standard bread basket. Catch of the day was good but overcooked.

Food was excellent, but took quite a long time to arrive at the table. The fish and burger were outstanding, but the salad and vegetables were average.

Food was good, but took forever. We were seated at 6:40PM and didn’t get out of there until 9PM. We had two apps, a kids pasta and two entrees!

We dined early because of our last minute reservation so had the corner booth inside and the restaurant to ourselves. We ordered our favorites, the pea tendril salad, probably not for everyone, and the truffle pasta and the flounder with the lemon pasta which we split. Both were outstanding as usual. Our sparkling and lemon drop were a nice way to start and our server was great. We truly enjoy our time at Citrus when we’re visiting Vero.

We were greeted by a friendly host, who offered us a choice of tables, we chose to sit beach side in the sun… gorgeous view! Great service and absolutely delicious food! Highly recommended this restaurant!
