25 years at this "bustling" Melville hub for both "business meetings" and " family celebrations," "gracious" hosts make folks "feel welcome" as they dig into "large portions" of "delicious" Continental and Northern Italian Favorites. The first to turn a veal chop into veal parmigiana and the first to offer sushi at an Italian Bistro "crudo" Italian Sashimi. Our Sushi Chef ranked 3rd best sushi on Long Island. The Cirella family owns and operates restaurants in some very unique locations. While shopping, don't forget to look for our sister location Gastronemy located inside Saks 5th Ave in the Walt Whitman mall. Each Restaurant is managed by a family member which means you can always find a cirella around "our family serving yours" has become our slogan over the years. We had a great waitress--wish I could remember her name! The only downside of the night was a very loud event going on in another part of the restaurant (by the bar), with someone talking on a microphone. But it quieted down over time.

Food was good. Server. Very good. But so crowded- we were a table of 4 the table next to us was a table for 4 but 8 people sat there. They pushed their chairs up against us they were standing talking and leaning on our chairs. They were very rude and basically ruined our dining experience. It was not appropriate to put that many people in a corner small table and those people should have more aware of their behavior.

The restaurant was packed. We waited a while past our reservation but the food was excellent and worth it. We were told when we received the check that a round of our drinks were comped so that was a pleasant surprise. We’ve been before and will definitely be back.
