About Cirella's Restaurant & Bar
25 years at this "bustling" Melville hub for both "business meetings" and " family celebrations," "gracious" hosts make folks "feel welcome" as they dig into "large portions" of "delicious" Continental and Northern Italian Favorites. The first to turn a veal chop into veal parmigiana and the first to offer sushi at an Italian Bistro "crudo" Italian Sashimi. Sushi Chef Alan Kim ranked 3rd best sushi on Long Island. The Cirella family owns and operates restaurants in some very unique locations. When shopping Cirella's @ Saks 5th Ave in the Walt Whitman mall. When hitting the Beach Surfs Out in Kismet Fire Island and when traveling to Florida Cirella's in Bonita Springs Fla. Each Restaurant is managed by a family member which means you can always find a cirella around "our family serving yours" has become our slogan over the years. Become "al la familia" ONE OF THE FAMILY

Cirella's Restaurant & Bar Ratings and Reviews
The food is pretty good for authentic Italian, but not great.
Our waiter was more concerned with making friends with other tables then serving us.
The artichoke appetizer is good, but has a lot of lemon flavor.
Skip the penne alle vodka.
The ragu sauce is good.
Food was very pedestrian. Linguini w. clam sauce had two whole clams, one tasted spoiled. The clams on the pasta tasted like they came out of a can. Eggplant Rollatini tasted like a mozzarella with sauce dish, unable to distinguish the eggplant from the mozarella cheese and the grilled chicken with salad was fair ,but the chicken lacked flavor and the dressing on the salad was weak.
My Husband and I come to Cirella's often. We enjoy the Food and the Service. We absolutely appreciate that the minute we are seating one of the servers brings us a yummy bread basket and delicious dipping oil. Thanks to Kerry our very pleasant server for another great dinner out.
My date and I were there for an early dinner on a Friday. The service and food was good, but I felt a bit cramped. The table was too small to hold food, drinks and bread basket (2'x2' for two people). Our reservations were for 6PM, and by 7:00 the noise level was deafening. My mistake for asking a girl out for dinner on a Friday.
We liked the food but the waitress was not very good. We still treated her right with a generous tip. She may only have been working a few short weeks. Since it was Yom Kippur they must have given her Saturday night. Paula screwed up our orders right from the start. A gin and tonic in a very short glass with no ice, when I asked for a tall glass with ice. Should have realized then.
It sure smelled good when we walked in for an early dinner last week, but the reality was rather disappointing. We split an appetizer of a shrimp dish that was smothered in marinara sauce. The shrimp had hardly any flavor, and the marinara sauce? I've had better out of a jar from the supermarket shelf. My wife's main course - linguini with clam sauce - was also unimpressive. My lasagna was meh. I've had better at our local pizza joint. Perhaps we went on an "off" night. Perhaps we didn't order the "right" dishes. But whatever. We were not impressed, and will not return. Long Island is filled with Italian restaurants, so there are plenty more to try the next time.
My fiancé and I had a wonderful time at Cirella's restaurant. The food was undeniably delicious and the serving size was considerable.
Both my fiancé & I sincerely enjoyed the service provider by our waitress, Caitlin. Caitlin was wonderfully kind and made sure that we were well comforted.
Two thumbs to Cirella!!!
Fantastic food and service, server Caitlin is always teriffic! The best veal chop on Long Island and the roasted 1/2 chicken was outstanding! It was my wife's birthday and the giant martini glass ice cream Sunday was amazing! Nice wines, good drinks and great food and service make for an outstanding dining experience!
My wife and I recently ate at this restaraunt and have never been more disappointed. Our server seemed distracted while taking our order as we had to repeat everything 2 times. When the food came out, our main dishes were served without our sides. After a 15 min wait and two inquiries later our sides finally arrived. My wife's dish contained food items that she requested not to be included. When I asked for my food to be wrapped to take home the server placed a dirty dish partially on top of my leftover dinner. (When we returned home to put the food in the fridge we realized it wasn't even our dinner but someone else's order). My wife called the following day to express our displeasure to the general manager Ed, she was told he had to speak to the owners and three days later still have not received a return call. We never complain or criticize our dining experiences, but especially given the price that we paid for such an unimpressive meal and dining experience we can be honest and say we will not be returning to this establishment.
We went on a Thursday night at 6:30. A family of 4. Very loud, very busy, slow service but fantastic food. One waitress seemed to be working the hardest (not ours) even pouring her tables water! only one bus boy. Food was so good we will try it again just a different night...
Weird menu, smell the stink of grated parmesan while trying to enjoy sushi. They need to put up a screen so that one is not bothered by smells from other table's dining choices. Waited four days to post this review as I wanted to give the restaurant a chance to reply to a complaint..., here it is: Leftover food poorly packed which leaked through the bag, leaving an awful smell and stain seeping into the seats of my car. What a way to ruin a nice meal! No plastic bag to absorb, no shopping bags, just poorly wrapped food in killer Styrofoam which should have been wrapped tighter in the aluminum foil. Left with a very poor impression of restaurant and customer service. Beware in taking home your leftovers.
We've dined here countless times, and Cirella's does not disappoint! after a sauteed calamari and clams appetizer which were delicious, I had Shrimp, my husband had fish, 3 grandkids had sushi and my son had a rice pot (?). Everything was outstanding. I wish they would open a restaurant in Southeast Florida!
sat nite early, restaurant was busy. we had the best waitress Kaitlin, very knowledgeable about the menu and wines. had cirella salad and we ordered zucchini papperdele with shrimp and cherry peppers in a very nice marinara sauce,(could have been less sauce), and a chicken parmesan that was huge, with pasta w.garlic and oil. overall very nice experience made better by Kaitlin.
As always, food very good, service outstanding. Although they do have a few traditional Italian dishes, parmigiana, scaloppini, etc., they also have unusual combinations, such as shrimp in a red pepper puree. They also have a sushi bar (their poki bowl is good) and a few gluten free options
Definitely worth a try
