   We had higher expectations because of the reviews. The biggest detractor was the poor service from our waitress. I don’t think her service was indicative of the other staff, as the other staff seemed more in tune with their customers. Our waitress was too rushed and forgetful at the same time. She tried to take our food order the second we sat down, before asking what type of water we wanted and before we received a wine and cocktail menu. We hadn’t even had a chance to open the dinner menu. We started by ordering cocktails. She said that one of the cocktails was not available. Rather than waiting for us to give her an alternative, she walked away. We were a little baffled as it wasn’t that busy. She came back with one drink and we ordered the other drink. It didn’t arrive until after we received our salads. When she cleared the salads to prepare for our entrees I tried to order a glass of wine, but she again walked away. I didn’t get a chance to order the glass of wine until the meal was served. The wine didn’t arrive until our meals were almost over. She just wasn’t paying attention. Foodwise, the scallops were very good. My partner ordered the bouillabaisse and said the broth was bland. We chose not to have dessert there because of the service.

   The $25 fee to make a reservation on Opentable during the week didn't seem necessary. There were many open tables. Could it be causing people to not make reservations? Just saying. Otherwise, everything was amazing. thank you.

   Overall the food was very good. Two things bothered me 1) the waiter told us we had two hours for the seating and 2) noise level from a 15 people bachelorette party was overwhelming. This is a nice small French inspired restaurant and to allow a massive group seating takes away from the charming ambiance. Why do 15 people have to all sit together?

   We always have had a very pleasant experience when we dine at Circa. They are friendly and the food is excellent.

   Overall experience was positive. Unfortunately the Daily Fish Special (Cod) was mediocre. Small serving, highly overpriced @ $50.00. Definitely go with the Trout.

   This place is a gem. Service is always top notch and the food delicious. The menu could change a little more selon la saison, but it certainly is one of Savannah's best.

   Very comfortable and appealing surroundings. Off to a great start. However, our server was indifferent and inattentive. Food was average for the price. Soggy frites. Fish was over priced. Sorry, would not recommend.

    Consistently good local favorite. I love that they are open late, as a classy after-event spot. Booked a quiet table for business dinner and, as-always, enjoyed the cozy basement seating. Food and drinks were great. Our server, Emily, was especially great, allowing us a long dinner, and solicitous service without disrupting. She was perfect. My favorite menu item of all time was the Frisée aux Lardons salad, which had a beautiful smoky flavor and delicate dressing. I love that slad so much I have ordered two. Please bring this back in its original form (original dressing) ASAP.
