   Dinner at Cindy's Backstreet last week, it was terrific! On a dark and rainy night, it was perfect. Food quality is excellent and our service was great as well. We will definitely return and bring some friends, they will not be disappointed. As a sister restaurant to the famed Mustard's Grill it definitely holds its own. Enjoy!

   My husband and I had a delicious dinner at Cindy's. I had a duck burger with polenta fries. Perfect and delicious. My husband's meatloaf was equally delicious. We had cocktails and wine. Very good! The waitress was fabulous! So friendly and accommodating. No attitude! After dinner, the host walked us through the alley to show us how to get to the bar we wanted to visit for an after dinner drink. So nice!

   For several years my quest has been for the best burger in the Bay Area. I am looking for perfect meat to bun ratio, char broiled outside and juicy medium rare inside, classic fixings......tomato, pickle, onion, lettuce......meat that is freshly ground so it can be rare and a bun that is tender yet doesn't fall apart with a juicy burger. I found it ast Cindy's. Absolute perfection. The service was outstanding. Th ambiance was great. We went at an off time so we could hear each other talk. Cindy was there checking on everything. Could not have been a better experience.

   We had a wonderful experience at Cindy's on Saturday night. The food was exceptional and the wine's selected by our waiter were excellent. Service was outstanding from start to finish. We look forward to finding our way back to Cindy's sometime soon.

   We were excited to get a last minute, late in the day reservation. The meatloaf was amazing. And we tried a new wine that we loved.

   The food here is delicious no matter what you order, the seasoning and sauces, the preparation is always fabulous! I had the salmon and loved it - my friends also had desert and it was sinfully good! We are repeats and will be back again!

   While the menu was interesting and the ingredients were of high quality, all of our entrees arrived at the table tepid or lukewarm; in the two dishes that included polenta it was gritty and undercooked, and those of us who ordered the goat found it to be a chewing challenge. All in all, I expected a better dining experience and better execution by the kitchen. The service was very conscientious.

   Returned here after 6 months and oh boy was I disappointed...server was slow and not attentive (somehow distracted) and our main food came out a bit cold and not tasting very fresh. The fish and chips was greasy and the duck burger although quite tasty didn't come with any greens, looked like a fast food chain meal on a plate, really poor presentation.

   Cute place, good service interesting menu. Duck burger and rabbit tostada were great. Flavors and textures were excellent. At $25 a plate I wouldn't order the rabbit tostada again, but it was fun to try something different. The appetizers were okay. We did not like the flavor and texture of the pork tots , but interesting concept. Polenta fries with basil sauce were great. This was our first visit and had a reservation. After we ate I was disappointed to find that upstairs has a beautiful open dining space and we were seated in the bar area which was small and noisy. The server was excellent so the overall experience was good. I would make sure to ask for a table in the dining area of you don't want to try to talk over patrons sitting at the bar.

    We had a lovely Valentine dinner with the fabulous Mary as our waitress (lucky us). Everything from the "we couldn't choose just one" appetizers to the salad, soup and entree's. We were too full for dessert. Best mojito in the land too!
