Cin City - Miami Valley Gaming

We had an excellent meal and waitress!! It is hard to find both .Loved the atomoshere! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.
This restaurant and meal was a major disappointment. The food is extremely over priced and poor quality. We ordered a $55 Filet Mignon that was described as being served with watercress and onion straws. The picture shows a sliver of an onion straw. Our meals did not include a salad so we added one at a cost of $7 each and what we got was wilted iceberg. Kroger .99 cent bagged salads are better. Also see picture. The filet was ordered medium and it came out tough and chewy and not edible. It’s clear that they don’t have quality kitchen staff nor a desire to serve quality food. I wouldn’t eat here again if it was free. This place should be shut down. Diners beware.
The chicken dinner with corn flakes was dry, bland and burnt on the edges. The pecan tart for dessert was not any better. I ordered more salad in Oder to get full. Next time I will stick with the steaks...
Got to say the food that I have tried is some of the best I have had in many years at a restaurant never would of expected it from a casino I'm hoping to continue to try some of the other menu items . I highly recommend the New York Strip and the ipa asparagus .
We have really enjoyed our dinners. We feel we are treated like we are special. We have tried several different entrees and they have all been delicious. We highly recommend the French onion soup.
I go here because I can't find a better repared filet mignon. Have been to several other so called steak houses where the cut off steak is horrible. This is the only place I currently go to get a steak now. The char is correct all the way around the filet...and when you cut into the steak....it literally pulls apart it is so tender. That is how a filet should be. The wife had their prime rib and it was excellent. If you are in the mood for a steak or prime rib...this is the place.
My meal was awful! I ordered the crab cakes and butternut squash soup as appetizers. The soup was very tasty, however the crab cakes were a joke! They consisted of 3 small teaspoon size cakes which were all breading and were very bland. I took one little bite and couldn’t force myself to eat anymore. My entree was the 12 oz filet with a sweet potato. When it finally arrived I had trouble cutting into it. I finally did and the meat was lukewarm at best and very course. Did I mention this was a $55 filet? I sent it back with the baked potato it came with. I never got my sweet potato. Realizing it wasn’t going to get any better I ordered the salmon instead of the steak. It took over 30 minted to get it, however it was reasonably good. I wish I could say this was a rare occurrence, but it’s not! Similar issues have happened to me nearly 75% of the time I eat there. I have tried to give them the benefit, however I may be done with them at this point. What a shame.
I invited my good friend to celebrate his birthday. He ordered the Salmon with broccoli and cauliflower. My guest was not happy with his dish because they barely put any vegetables on his plate. Ordering can be difficult because you have no pictures to look at. Also the turkey burger was extremely DRY.
I have eaten at Cin City about 15 times over the last year or so and this was one of my worst experiences. I ordered the French Onion soup and the scallops as appetizers and the cowboy ribeye with a baked potato for my main course. My server was also the bartender and had way too much going on to wait any tables, so first off the service was awful. My soup was OK and threw scallops were good as usual. When I finally got my steak and potato it was not good, or correct. I was brought the regular ribeye and not the bone in cowboy ribeye I had ordered. And the baked potato was only slightly larger than an egg. Well I knew it didn’t look right, however I could not get the attention of the bartender/server to correct it and so I sat there for over 10 minutes with my plate pushed from me waiting for someone to ask me how my meal was. No one came by. I finally just got up in disgust and asked the manager if he could just bring me my bill. He asked me if everything was alright after seeing I had not touched my steak and I told him what had happened. He offered to remake the steak and I was over it and passed. He brought out my bill which ended up at $96 and change because I tacked on 2 pieces of cheesecake. How disappointing!
Great waitress! Food POOR! Salad was old and yellow! Rib tower was inedible! Ribs were old and tasted like shoe leather & smelled. Ordered bacon cheeseburger well done. The burger was a frozen patty and was burnt. The French fries were cold! MVG claims this is an upscale restaurant. This is a joke! I would be ashamed and afraid to feed this so called food to my dog! I am just guessing but I believe the ribs had to come off of Sunday's buffet as well as the salad! Simply disgusting meal! Please DO NOT waste your $$!
I have to say it is one of the best places I have eaten. I could only eat enough, so I decided to take home.
The food & waitress was awesome. Would definitely recommend you try.
NY strip was terrific, perfectly cooked and exquisitely marbled. Sides good. Companion had salmon, also very good.
Worst service I have ever had. The food was cold. My steak was over half fat and grissel. We couldn't ever get water refilled. I ordered Pepsi and was given diet I asked for new Pepsi and watched the same glass taken to bar brought back to me with diet still in it
had the filet cooked right tender juicy flavorful don't need steak sauce. friendly service
The food was okay. The shrimp cocktail was very good. I didn’t think that there were enough waitresses our waitress had to take care of the bar also so service was very slow and the person bringing the food out tried to give our food to the people next to us twice
I believe there have been changes I was kinda not as excited as I took a first time friend. The steak did not have as much of the grilled taste as before. Sometime change is not always for the best.
Our filet mignon steak was perfectly prepared to our taste, salad fresh and crisp, baked potato hot with butter and the best dinner rolls! The lucky buckeye lava cake is a chocolate lovers dream come true, so good with the vanilla ice cream and a hot cup of coffee! The waitress was so nice and definitely loved her job, she was there to make our meal perfect. We couldn't even hear the casino inside the restaurant, so a nice break from the noise. It was simply perfect and I would recommend it to everyone for a special occasion. It was well worth an hours drive to us.
Amazing food. Great servers.
I had a $75 credit from the casino towards dining in this establishment so I went all in on the biggest filet they offered, plus a Ceasar salad, and raspberry cheesecake for dessert. They include a baked potato with a butter compound with all steak entrees. It was a lot of food. My balance was .01 when all was said and done (of course I tipped well).
The steak was cooked well, but had a very salty crust. The Ceasar salad was fine. The potato was good; the butter compound was served on the side and my server brought me extra butter and sour cream. She also seemed to think that she had waited on me in the past and made reference to having glass in my potato; I was super confused but it all made sense as she said "nice to see you again" early and "potato without glass tonight" and then "thanks for letting me wait on you and I'm glad we had a glass free evening." Whoever the poor guy who I resemble must have had a heck of a time?
The only real disappointment food wise was the raspberry cheesecake. $9 for a frozen dessert? Nah.
Would I eat here again? Sure, if I have a dining credit.
Waitress was great, was seated right away even though I was early for my reservation.
Enjoy the food every time I have eaten there.
I got the filet (12 oz) and it was cooked to perfection, but was heavily oversalted.. mostly could only taste salt. The baked potato was good, mushrooms were pretty dry. Worth it if you have comps from the casino. If you don't like very salty foods, you might want to ask them for light seasoning on your steak.
The whole staff is very friendly. It is nice to see everyone helping one another !
We go often and enjoy the food---they do make you feel very welcoming and go out of their way to make sure you are accommodated and pleased.
Greeted warmly upon arrival. Seated immediately even though I was 10 minutes late. Server (Tyler)introduced himself and the specials of the day! Service was great and food was very appealing to the eye, tasty, and filling.
Look forward to eating here again, soon.
Cin City offers the best in casual fine dining. The steaks are delicious, the French onion soup is fantastic, and the service has always been awesome. The only downfalls are 1) The steaks are a bit pricey, and 2) There is no crème brulee on the dessert menu - actually, the dessert menu needs to be increased.
Another awesome meal at Cin City. Saved room for desert this time and I'm glad I did. The raspberry cheesecake was wonderful.
I thought that the food was just ok for the price. Service was very good, nice atmosphere for this restaurant.
Lovely, always enjoy the experience!
Great food. ANDRIA was wonderful.
Nice place to have a good dinner
Sharon our server was great, and the food delicious
Service was good. Food was ok at best. I ordered the 12oz filet medium. It was the driest filet I’ve ever had. I did not complain since I was paying with a voucher.
It's not fair to classify "service" as its own category. Our waitress was very good and attentive but the kitchen was running behind all evening. When we spoke to the manager the only thing he did was throw the waitress under the bus. He told us our waitress should have explained they were running behind. Not sure we will be heading back anytime soon.
First of all, our steaks were great. I usually have zero issues with the steaks here. Seems like this is the only place I can get a great steak around the area. Service was ok, had a new waitress and did not get offered any bread they give you before the app/meal, had to ask first. Also, took a little while for waitress to come over and when she did, she apologized and said she was with her regular customers. So if I am not a regular customer I'm not going to get good service? This was a strange statement. You are in a casino restaurant, so take it for what that was.
As I said, the steak portion of the meal was excellent, and sides were excellent.
Not impressed with the deserts at all. Don't taste like chef quality, more like quality you would get out of a box at like a Costco or Sam's.
But with dinner being great, gave it a 4 stars since wasn't really going there for desert anyway.
Been to this restaurant numerous times, the service was terrible, waited over an hour for the food, and then it wasn’t right. Told the manager about the wait, he seemed pretty indifferent about my concern said the kitchen was backed up. He never bothered to explain that to anyone prior to that, and the waitress sucked. Not going to be in a hurry to return.
Great service and the menu had a lot of good choices. The food was very good and came out in a reasonable amount of time so we could enjoy conversation.
Service was great! My filet was very good, but just a little overcooked, and my desserts were very disappointing.
Food was excellent great time enjoyed the casino afterwards the couple with us enjoyed it very much.
Always enjoy their steaks and salads plus their French onion soup. Staff is always courteous.
Great service and great food highly recommended a visit
I love the food but think you have to wait too long getting your food. Needs to improve
