I was very displeased with our waitor, felt very rushed to finish each course, I felt the food and portions were over priced. When I brought the fact my steak was under cooked, the manager just lectured me instead of offering to cook it more or other solutions. I was not pleased and wouldn't go back

The steak was cooked just right and had awesome flavor, the asparagus was wonderful, the baked potato was not very fresh and not very warm, the service was great, it’s sad that I have to drop the rating lower because of a baked potato but if I’m going to pay 12 dollars for a baked potato I expect it to be fresh and hot. Overall a good dining experience

We went for Valentines and it couldn’t be more perfect. Quiet, romantic, great service and the food was amazing! Can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic food, server was excellent, wasn't loud and was just a peaceful atmosphere. Great place for a date night or special occasions. Kinda pricey but the quality of food was definately worth it

I took my girlfriend here for our Valentine's Day dinner. The ambiance was great from the start but overall from the food to the service, it was not up to standards that the restaurant portrays. The food was good but extremely overpriced. Cleanliness of the restaurant was lacking and our service was okay at best.

Ordered filet and lobster. Filet was good, but lobster was cool, as well as the clarified butter. Asked for hot butter to warm up the lobster, and got another lukewarm butter boat. Asparagus was old and woody and over cooked to the point that I couldn’t cut parts of it, as it would simply tear into strands. For the kind of money spent on that dish ($78) it should have been perfect. Wasn’t happy with the bruschetta appetizer either, which was not our first pick, because they were out of the baked Brie... and it was only 5pm. Very poor food quality for the money.

It was fine. The waiter argued with my friend about ordering his “filet” well done. I was offended, personally, but he can order it however he wants?! Correct?

After some immature bickering and sending his steak back to get burned, all was well. It could have been avoided if the hipster waiter “lost his attitude, and the “man bun”, he could have earned my respect.

It was amusing and I paid with a Groupon, so who cares?

Not a good experience. We bought a groupon as a gift for parents who are on a fixed income. I gave the enough cash to cover tax and tip. I asked how they enjoyed christophers. They didn't, and left it at that. I guess they didn't want me to feel bad.
So my wife and i bought one to see what may have happened.
The ad states $70 worth of food. I figure once you spend $70 your done. Well we learned there is only a certin section you can buy from, you must purchase 2 items and the lowest possible price item is $38 times 2 items. That is just for a small piece of meat. No side no drink just an 8oz piece of meat. So the groupon forces you to pay additional money no matter what.
I understand its an upscale resturant, but this kind of surprise for many income levels can be shocking and embarrassing under certain conditions.
My wife and i just got up and left, we did not use the voucher and now groupon refuses to refund us since we passed the 3 day return policy by 16 hours.
So not only did my parents have an embarrassing experience, as did my wife and i, but we are now out the money for 2 groupons.
With groupons, might i suggest if you have so many restrictions, you don't hide it in small print. Have in bold print an exsample get $70 worth of food. You must purchase 2 items the lowest priced item is $38 for a 8oz piece of meet. NO SIDES, NO DRINK, JUST AN 8OZ PIECE OF MEET. NOTHING ELSE.

We have been coming to Christopher's for years. The steaks and seafood is always delicious. We tried the pris fix this time. What an experience. We could not finish all the food! The steak was huge!

The ambiance was wonderful, quiet, rich wood surroundings. We had a steak, which was cooked just right, but the meat seemed a bit tough for the $57 price, and the "aged" description. Ee also had a seafood medly, I forget the name of the entreé, but was very good. For a side, we had the au gratin potatoes which were way to salty to eat. They were replaced with the parmesan mashed potatoes, still a bit too much salty, but edible. We were not charged for either side because of the saltiness of the first. Very few patrons there that night, and the service was excellent. I think the food is a bit pricey for the quality. They should take care to not over season the food.
