   Absolutely 💯 delicious. Worth the price for something that is a total experience of the colonial culture. We were even serenaded by a colonial ukulele player. The food was amazing! Also (mom of 3 here)...even my picky eater liked the food. There was mac n cheese and she ate every bit. Kids meals were filling and come with dessert 🍨.

   Lovely experience from start to finish. We had fried trout and the halibut special with appetizers…oysters and the lettuce salad.

   This is my favorite Tavern in Williamsburg. The food, serice and music is excellant. You will not be disappointed in diining here. I strongly recomend. The staff are so friendly.

   Outstanding food and service. The menu is very accurate to the time period and the options are incredible.

   We had a lovely experience. The staff were friendly. The waiter was helpful and attentive. The atmosphere was pleasant, not noisy. Food was delicious. Highly recommend!

   The food was just so so. Our waiter was great and the music was nice. We were in a small room that was pretty loud.

   Our party of 6 were seated at a table at the very end of the porch. When we were seated there was a table of 4 men next to our table. Another couple was seated right next to us. Except for one table at the other end of the porch no other tables were occupied during our meal. The table of 4 men were talking and drinking loudly. To hear each other we were forced to speak loudly. The noise level continued to raise. I started to request our party be moved but our food arrived, so we stayed. I cannot understand when all 3 parties were placed less than 6 feet apart. There was so much space not used. The service was very slow. The waiter did not ask if we want more drinks, refilled water only one time. When salads were delivered, we never had the chance to request pepper. After finishing the entrees, we had to wait a long time to place the desert order. By now it was getting late, so we requested the desserts to go. Again, another long wait. The restaurant was not busy. On a positive note, 2 of our party arrived early for the reservation. They enjoyed a very pleasant drink and appetizers in the bar.
