A couple enjoying each others company tucked into a banquette late in the evening…a group of girlfriends people-watching from the sidewalk tables over brunch…two neighbors stopping by to grab lunch at the bar.

Great place for relaxed french food. soupe à l'oignon is fantastic as well as the short rib and beuf bourguignon. Oysters on Monday are a great addition.

The restaurant is closed permanently. Why does it appear as active on Open Table?

Hello Rocky, We are definitely open 7 days a week from 10 am to 9 pm. I am so sorry for that, maybe you went to Cocotte that is permanently closed? Some of our customers used to go there thinking it was Chouquet's. My experience with the restaurant is excellent. The staff is super friendly and the service is outstanding. The food is one so delicious prepared by their outstanding chef. I highly recommend this gem.

One of my favorite neighborhood restaurants. Friendly staff, very reliable good food. I especially enjoy the tuna tartar, and the lentils with potatoes and carrots.

Very experienced kitchen and staff. They honored my request for a quiet table since I am hearing impaired. That kind gesture always makes me feel good and valued. The food was great, as always, and the location is only blocks from my home, so it truly is a great go to place to meet friends for lunch or dinner and enjoy really fine French food. THANKS CHOUQUET'S!
