   My son and I ran the Virginia Marathon on 3/19 and were looking for a good steak dinner thereafter to get our energy back. Chops did not disappoint. The food and service were excellent. We also were seated at a good table where we were able to talk because it was not crazy loud in the restaurant that night.

   Service and food was very good. I was there for my 30th wedding anniversary and ask for a secluded table and was placed next to a loud family. I just ask you try to consider the customer request a little more serious.

   From the time we walked in the ambiance and staff were impeccable. This was our first time but had a few friends recommend Chops and I dont regret going at all. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Everyone greeted us with smiles. The food was excellent and served in a timely manner. I did look up the menu before hand so I was expecting the cost. For two people I spent $150 which includes appetizers, drinks, 2 meals and 2 desserts...very reasonable. I will definitely be going back!

    It was amazing. My wife and I went for her birthday dinner and we were sad when it was time to leave. The service was the best I have had in my life. I had the Rack of Lamb and my wife had the filet mignon. They we both amazing. It was not busy so the gave us a very spacious booth in the back corner. I just can’t say enough about how nice it was. It can be on the higher end of price but worth every penny.

    The service was friendly and impeccable. The food was superb. The room is beautiful and the parking was easy. Great fried shrimp appetizer; steaks were cooked as requested; wedge fries were to die for. Expansive and good wine list with all price points. We ate in the dining room but the bar looks awesome too and we will probably try it next time. We’ll definitely be back!

    It was Valentine’s Day and my girlfriend’s birthday. Olga was our server she was amazing!! She recommended the specials and I thought local catch was more incredible with each bite. My lady got the steak special with lobster tail. She said it was amazing as well the cocktails were fresh and very tasteful as we chose a few rounds of mai tais and lemon drops. Finished off with a to die for chocolate lava cake and my lady received a complimentary dessert for it being her bday. We couldn’t find a complaint if we wanted to everything was just top tier. The optimal dining experience!

    Loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. The salmon was good and my fiancé loved the lamb chops. He is already wanting to go back to order more. My only complaint is that the meals already come with there own sides and you can not substitute. For the money we spent, I should be able to pick my own sides and not have to pay extra to get another side.

    We went to celebrate both my birthday and valentines day. It was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. The fried shrimp appetizer was both light, crispy, and tender on the inside. Both of our filets were cooked perfectly and you could cut them with a fork. The desert was great as well I had the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake and my wife had the chocolate mousse cake. The wine list was perfect also we decided on a bottle of bonanza and it paired perfectly with the filet. The service was absolutely perfect. Olga our server was there at all the right times, and her service was second to none. Gaston, the GM and one of the owners even came by the table to check on everything. Top rate service and food. Highly recommend to anyone who wants more than just a good diner. Go to chops and have the total dining experience. You will be talking about it for years. Dwane cochenour

    My husband and I came here for Valentine’s Day, they had a nice Valentine’s menu and I can’t rave about their Tropical Mule enough. Was certainly pricey and the ambience was more casual than I anticipated. Our server Abby was really nice and took good care of us, overall a good experience and the food was pretty good!

    The steaks were both overcooked, which is not something that should happen at this price point. But I understand mistakes happen. However, the manager then argued that’s how they’re supposed to be. The steaks were definitely not worth the price.

    It was a quiet and enjoyable evening at this restaurant. The food was cooked to perfection and the waitstaff was on top of their game. I would say going during the non tourist season was the best experience.

    I can appreciate that the restaurant provides an upscale, quiet and comfortable atmosphere… the food however was amazing I ordered the rack of lamb; it was cooked to perfection… my compliments to the chef.

    Went for restaurant week. Lamb chop dinner was excellent! Surf and turf not edible. The “surf” was fine but the sirloin was tough and too salty. Took two bites left the rest. Took it home and threw it away. Husband won’t go back.
