   Consistent and by far the best steakhouse in the Greenville area. It is a go-to for any and all celebrations in our household. Keep it up.

   This was our first visit to this restaurant, as we are new to the area. Celebrating our anniversary. The ambiance is that of a high end steak house. The food was amazing, especially the 12 oz. filet that was cooked perfectly. The service was excellent, the only negative was the waiter bringing us the dessert menu while I was still eating my dinner. Which makes me feel rushed, even though he said there’s no rush. Overall I would still recommend this restaurant, and will be returning.

   We decided to go to Chophouse 47 for a double special occasion, a birthday and paying off the mortgage on the house. The experience did not disappoint. The service was exceptional and the food was top shelf. Our steaks were prepared as we ordered them and arrived in a reasonable time. I brought a special bottle of wine which they gladly opened and decanter for a very reasonable fee. I highly recommend Chophouse 47 for any special occasion or just for a great meal.

   It was Mother’s Day, we were afraid it would be crazy busy! But it was not bad. Our table was ready at our reservation time. We were given a booth in the bar area… Which was fine. Service was excellent. Food was delicious. Very nice experience!

   Usually a 5 star experience when we go to Chophouse but our last visit was a little disappointing. Service was slower then you'd expect at a high $ 5 star restaurant, had to ask for many things several times(straws, bread, drinks and refills). Do better.

    Made reservations via Open Table in advance. I called the day of to change our party size from two to three, confirm they knew it was my wife’s 65th birthday and that I would like a booth. I was told “No problem” and quickly received confirmation of change via text. We arrived 15 minutes early, checked in and waited 30 mins to be seated. This has happened the last two visits. Then they led us to a four chair table. When I informed him I had specifically asked earlier that day for a booth for my wife’s birthday, he checked and said there was nothing he could do as there was a pecking order for the booths. I let him know there were two empty booths available in the bar, that had been empty since we arrived 30 minutes before. He told us those were reserved and couldn’t give us one. He then said he would make it right for us. The second issue was, other than the server saying Happy Birthday to my wife when he first came up, there was no acknowledgement of her special day. I will give credit for the excellent service during our meal, he was spot on. The bone in ribeyes and my wife’s filet were perfectly cooked and tasty. We loved the table side preparation of the lobster tail and it was delicious. And the recommended two bottles of wine complimented the food quite well. But, they missed the mark on recognizing my wife’s special day.
