    Wonderful first time at Chophouse… ordered the delicious ceasar salad for starter with French Martini and Old Fashion to start. Then ordered the petit filet and 3 lb lobster with Brussels sprouts and shared the loaded baked potato. The food was delicious just the Brussels sprouts were a little tough on the outside of them. Brussels are difficult to cook to perfection … soft from outside to inside. The server George if I remember correctly was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu drinks and service etiquette. We went there for a lovely dinner for our 3rd year anniversary and it was perfect from beautiful decor to wonderful quiet ambience. We definitely will be going back to this restaurant. The server gave of two glasses of champagne to celebrate our 3rd year anniversary together. ❤️I was so wrapped up in the excitement of the dinner I forgot to take pics of the food but I did get one pic of the champagne. Pics next time we visit.

    I have been coming to Chophouse 47 for eight years. I have noticed some changes the past few times I have been in. The music has changed. The bands that are playing were not even a thought in 1947, and that is the feel trying to be achieved when dining at this very special restaurant. The staff is special in the most beautiful way. Everyone from the servers, to the cooks , and to management in the restaurant are spectacular.  This comment is in no way a complaint against them. I am told the COO is trying to attract a different crowd of people. I am 46 and have bragged to a friend of mine, who is also in their 40s, about how unique Chophouse 47 is with the experience of being transported back in time. The bands playing in the restaurant were not even a thought in 1947. Imagine my embarrassment when taking my friend, just to be proven wrong in my description. The COO is welcome to call me themselves. I have probably been to your restaurant 100–150 times in my life. My advice to the COO is to try to not fix something that isn’t broken.

    Dinner was Caesar salad, oysters Rockefeller, Bone-in ribeye medium rare, asparagus with bernaise sauce The good- 1 extensive wine list from all over the world 2 fine steak meat cooked to perfection The bad- 1 one of the MOST expensive places I’ve ever dined. Every item was 1/3 more than should be expected. I had a California Pinot noir that was $108 per bottle 2 the food was not impressive, other than my cut of meat. Everything that we tasted needed lots of salt. The restaurant ambience and the wait staff are PHENOMENAL. This is a really fine restaurant with rock stars working throughout. They just need to work on seasoning their food.

    The food, as always, was out of this world exquisite. The wine pairings were exceptional as well, there was not a single one we didn't like. The service was attentive, and our waitress recognized us from a prior visit, and looked after us the entire evening without us having to summon her. This is our favorite restaurant in the Upstate of South Carolina, bar none!

    Although we dine here often, this was our first “Wine Dinner” here. Event was well attended given it was a Monday evening. Menu was standard fare for a steakhouse wine dinner with Caesar Salad, steak or fish and cheesecake. Wines were served with each course and covered the Far Niente Winery range. Service was excellent just as the food preparation. Overall a great experience. Only thing to make it better would be to lower the music volume in the dining rooms!
