CHOP was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavour to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender. And we put this level of care into each of our hand-crafted drinks, and from-scratch dishes, including plant-based and seafood options, with something for everyone to enjoy. All of this quality comes with friendly hospitality in warm and energetic rooms. Open for lunch, happy hour, dinner and late-night!

Our dinner at Chop was amazing. We went with a group of 10 and were sat in a private room for the night. It was quiet and kept very clean. Our server was Erika and she was the absolute best. Very attentive and got everyone’s order correct. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I decided to celebrate his birthday at Chop (West End location) after a 2 year avoidance due to a previous bad experience. Well Redemption is theirs! Our server Rachel (I highly recommend requesting her) was phenomenal! She was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and super friendly. She took the time to discuss different dished with us - asking us what we think of this or if we liked that - and it ultimately resulted with us having a perfect meat from beginning to end. Their Chili Garlic Shrimp appetizer was a lovely way to start the meal. It has a moderate amount of chili heat which balances well with the garlic. The shrimp were plump and not overcooked at all. Very yummy! My husband had the Fillet Mignon and I had the Rib Eye - Wow! They were done perfectly. Kudos to that Chef! We did decide to share a dessert and we selected the Salted Caramel Pot de Creme from the Summer Menu. OMG!! It was amazing! Honestly this was one of the best meals we have had - very glad we came back. And the staff even signed a birthday card for my hubby! That was really nice - like I said Redemption is theirs! Thank you Chop and especially Rachel for making my hubby's birthday really special.

My husband and I both ordered Sirloin steak, mine was done perfectly, and my husbands was overcooked. We asked for a new steak which he got and it was raw, they refired it and it was overcooked and burnt around the edges and still raw in the middle. At this point my husband was done waiting and left without eating any steak. The manager tried to make it right and comped his dinner which she should have since my husband didn’t eat any of the steak. They gave us a gift card for another time which is ok but we really just wanted to enjoy a nice dinner out. Which we didn’t get.

This was our first visit to a CHOP restaurant and it did not disappoint. We were welcomed immediately, the staff was absolutely amazing. Food was incredible!

Taylor was an attentive but not overbearing server. The Steak Bites were as delicious as always. Tried the avocado bowl. It was ok. We will definitely be back.
