The service was excellent. The food was very good also, but somewhat overpriced. The ambiance was nice, except for the bathrooms, which was like walking into a gas station bathroom which was unkempt. The other thing was there was nowhere for the servers to be, so they all just hung around this little table in the hall, which, unfortunately, was close to our table and we could hear every conversation that went on there. It's an odd set up. The lay out at Venice restaurant has more room. I would be inclined to go there as opposed to Chianti.

Long time local place with the best staff. They know their menu and list. Friendly and attentive staff. Food is very good and they offer a large variety. Because it is a small place tables are quite close together and noise can be quite loud. Overall will go back.

I was kind if disappointed in the quality of the food. I got the veal scallopine and the meat was not tender as it should be. I’m sorry that I chose not to get pasta with it as maybe then I would have thought it was more affordable. Service was good. Too noisy.

A pleasant and affordable straddle between (almost) classy dining and neighborhood eats in terms of decor, service, and ambience--though the acoustics contributed nicely to civilized conversation. Menu and wine offerings are numerous and appear promising, but the food is moderately over-done and heavily-sauced; and the desserts--at least the tiramisu and cannoli--were disappointingly bland. Neither money nor an evening wasted, but sedately cruising in the MOTR.

So I made a reservation a while before going. The only table left was by the door. We are older and that would be very cold. The guy at the desk was snotty and could have cared less. Made no effort to help. He was rude. Than a nice waiter recognized one of us who is a regular and he fixed two tables away from the door.

What a neighborhood gem!! The food and service were amazing. Had the pear salad and Caesar salad. For entrees, Cioppino and Veal Saltimbocca with a side of Fettucine Alfredo. Outstanding! Eddie was excellent, and all of the staff were so friendly. Will definitely go back the next time we are in Denver!

This is just such a find. It is in a strip mall and it looks small but packs a big punch from welcoming to service to food. It is one that is what they call (when traveling) a hole I. The wall restaurant.

I thought the food this time was very average (linguine with seafood) as the marinara sauce was very bland. The waiter acted like he was too busy to accommodate my requests. Asked for the spicy marinara and was handed a shaker of red pepper flakes to “do it yourself”. Asked for separate checks as the other couple doesn’t drink wine and was told to divide up the bill how I wanted. Too busy or just lazy?

First time we have ever been to Chianti and it was a little off. The spinach salad that is usually served slightly warm was served cold. The sausage in the sauce on the ravioli was over cooked and the risotto was way too salty. Just not having the best night, but it’s always our favorite spot and will be back. The waitstaff was awesome.

I've been a regular at Chianti for years and I've watched them evolve. As they get more and more popular, the prices get higher and they offer less. The entrees used to include veggies and pasta but now it's only the very small portion of steamed veggies and the side of pasta is an extra $4.95. The food is absolutely delicious so it's a trade off - they are always very crowded and the noise level makes it hard to have a conversation. On this visit we felt VERY rushed - like they needed our table almost from the time we sat down. We were in and out, with 7 people, in under an hour. But the food was great!

Well kept secret. Food and service were first rate. Too many tables in the space. Felt we were on top of our table neighbors and heard more nearby conversation than we desired. That said would return for the great food and service.
