Even though we had a bit of trouble finding it, we had a lovely dining experience, lovely atmosphere and beautifully decorated, food was better than perfect and staff very friendly and welcoming. I Would definitely recommend and the Lobster is a must have !!

My second time here. Good food, great service very attentive. A little over priced if not for the open table deal. Will be back soon.

I enjoyed the ambience, the music was quite loud but we could hear ourselves speak, the place was quite busy and the drinks were enjoyable and cocktails arrived quickly. My starter of crab tacos was very nice but my rib eye steak was fatty grizzled and nasty compared to the many rib eye steaks I have eaten before. Considering it is meant to specialise in steak , the steak was very poor. The small area of steak that wasn't fatty and grizzled was nice flavoured and cooked medium rare as requested. On reflection I should have sent my steak back ! The overall evening was enjoyable but with so many other great places in London to go, I wouldn't go back or recommend it to anyone.

This is a steak restaurant as good as any other in London - perfectly cooked steak and quietly attentive service. The current 50% off offer makes this an absolute STEAL!

We decided to visit here on a whim with a few co-workers from the UK and abroad. We received a wonderful welcome, and incredible service throughout. The menu offers a wonderful variety - mostly based on meat and fish. All represent tasty options which make it difficult to choose. The New York strip steak and Steak frites appeared to be the most popular at our table. I sampled both and can highly recommend them. The wine list offers excellent value too, allowing patrons to sample great options from everywhere across the world. We chose a delightful Malbec which appealed to everyone. We'll be back...

This is my first time to Chez Mal. I have been to other Malmaison Hotels and they have a good reputation so I know what to expect. Chez Mal did not disappoint, it kept up to Malmaison's standards. The waitresses was very attentive. Food was good. Good value with Open Table's offer otherwise over priced. Will be returning soon.

We really enjoyed our meal here, service was a little slow but it was a Sunday... The waitress was friendly and even though she brought my main with an ingredient I had asked to be left out, she was apologetic and a new meal was brought out quickly. I like the venue and the ambience was cool and laid back - the quality was very good. Particularly the tuna steak.

We had an early supper at Chez Mal as a last minute decision to meet up in a mutually convenient location. Our party consisted of two couples, and it was just after the new year on the 3rd of January when things would presumably be quiet on the restaurant scene. Everyone was happy with their food, and the price with the 50% offer was a bargain. The service was very good too - we would definitely return and would recommend to others. We also enjoyed having the bar all to ourselves for a pre-dinner drink, though it was still nice once others started to arrive.
