Great service and wonderful food
My husband and I had a wonderful dinner with Lisa Orf as our server. She was amazing! Prompt service, great drinks, and wonderful food. We will come back to see Lisa again!
As always, the best filet mignon in Kansas (at least so far). Side dishes and appetizers were excellent also. Will definitely continue eat there from time to time. (A little pricey, but it's worth it for special occasions)
Love this place! Great ribeye cooked perfectly, as usual. Excellent wine list and whiskey selection in the bar. Super service. Every time I am in Wichita I try to eat at Chesters.
NAK from St Louis.
Very good food, and great service. Steaks were awesome, might have been unicorn.
If you are looking for a relaxing evening this is one place to be.
We are avid travelers and can honestly say this was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. The decor, food, wine, staff and vibe of Chester’s Chophouse is exceptional. Next time we are in Wichita, we will definitely return. We can’t remember our waiter’s name, but he was the BEST!
Excellent service. Expert wine service and table work of Dakota remade goer special experience. Beef delicious as were all sides, app, and carrot cake.
Outstanding Menu and amazing customer service. Eric was fantastic. That's why we came back.
Overall, the experience of the restaurant was fantastic.
If you have a fat wallet this is the place to go. Excellent food and great service.
Always the top spot for steak in Wichita
Very nice place. Just a little higher priced for what we got as far as food wise. Everything else was fantastic.
Steak made me want to cry it was so good. Definitely got laid after this meal. Thanks chesters
This was our 27th wedding anniversary and this made for a nice evening and celebration for us. Our server recognized this occasion and helped improve the experience.
Our food was delicious and the service was excellent.
Mostly wonderful, but got LOUD around 7:30.
Great experience! Food was delicious and service was great!
Very nice atmosphere. Steak was perfect. Best wait staff.
Noise level too high.
With servers wearing masks they are extremely hard to hear.
Had to wait a long time for the entree serving.
Food was good.
Food was great as always, server was helpful and very good.
Daniel provided exceptional service and made our special evening memorable! The food was delicious and I felt satisfied when we left.
My husbands steak was in his words "absolutely perfect". My linguini was rather spicy which I thought overpowered the taste of the seafood, but that is just my personal opinion. Wine was excellent as were the drinks. Waiter was fun and attentive. Overall an enjoyable experience.
It was AMAZING start to finish!!! I will be going back probably weekly just to try different things. First time in a VERY long time I have really enjoyed going out to eat, and I go out to eat everyday. 5+ stars!!!
Atmosphere and service were top notch! However, my husband had the $65 ribeye and was very disappointed. For that amount of money he at least expected it to be almost fork tender and very flavorful. Sadly the steak needed a fair amount of sawing to cut into and the flavor was no better than the average chain steakhouse. My scallops and our appetizer were phenomenal though!
We had some doubts going in about what to expect based on the other reviews. I will start with the only issue. We had reservations and upon arrive we were seated at one of the worst table in the place when their were very few guest in the restaurant at the time. The layout of the restaurant and the table we were given forced our two guest to sit with their backs to constant waitstaff and guest traffic. They were bumped in to several times during our meal. Now on to the good.. The preparation of the food was top notch throughout the meal from beginning to end and the service was as good as we've had anywhere in the country. Other than the seating, that could be improved, I would highly recommend Chester's Chophouse.
Dinner and service were fantastic. Would recommend sharing the black and blue flat bread as an appetizer.
Excellent service, food was great (steak was overcooked for medium rare). Very loud inside. They had music playing on the speakers, you sit very close to other tables, some are which large parties that are talking loud to hear each other, makes it so you can't hear the person sitting across from you at your table.
Wonderful food, great wine selection and recommendation.
Had the Airline Chicken - It was quite delicious!
Perfect Valentine's Day evening with friends. Never disappointed.
Beautiful Valentines date. Only complaint is the table was very small. It fit all of our food but it felt very crowded. Overall great experience!
Excellent food...knowledgeable and attentive waitstaff....tables were really close together.
I felt like part of the family. And we Enjoyed seeing Holly There
There is nothing about this place for a romantic evening. They sit you too close to other couples and one person has to sit in the aisle. The steak when it arrived (ordered medium rare) was actually fridge cold on the inside. The value of the meal was horrible. I will say the Mac and cheese was very good. Our first night out after moving to Wichita and they did not give us a good memory to have.
Steak was over done but overall great time.
Food wasn’t bad. Steak didn’t have much flavor. I ordered the 16 oz ribeye cooked medium. It took over an hour for it to arrive, it was medium rare with minimal flavor, and at least 8 of the 16 oz was fat. Disappointed that at almost $70 for the steak, it didn’t come with sides. Those cost $8 extra each. I ordered fries with it and they were very crunchy. My wife said her chicken was OK, but not great. On the plus side, the Philly cheesesteak spring roll appetizer was great. Overall, food was ok, service was slow, and menu is way overpriced.
One of our favorite restaurants. Once a month at Chesters is our goal.
The food was fine. Ambiance was fine. Server was a little over zealous but he did his job. Everything was fine, no complaints. If you want to go on a nice date at a decent steak house with high quality beef then Chester's is definitely the one you want. The white bean bacon side is probably my favorite thing there.
I like Chester's quite a bit. I have dined here several times, I went on my first date with my now husband (we even got engaged there). This was my first visit since the new owners took over, and the food wasn't bad, nothing was bad. Most things were pretty much the same, but it really isn't the same anymore. The changes that have been made are mostly small things, but those little things really made Chester's stand out, and now that they're gone it really just isn't as great as it was. That was disappointing to me. I don't feel so compelled to continue to return as I had before.
Hans was fantastic, food was second to none. Creme brulee was perfect. Bud boys and food runners kept table clean.
Great great great. Service and food were great. Going back soon.
