Marianne’s organic garden helps supply Warren’s kitchen with his beloved fresh produce & both are actively involved in the local food movement.
The ambiance is fusion as well - bistro style rather than “fine dining” - that is at once classic French and comfortable with an open kitchen so foodies can watch the work in progress. Art work is a mix of Mucha prints and Warren’s photography. Music is quirky.
Nightly wine by the glass specials, carefully curated wine list and a delightful cocktail menu round out drinks offerings.
Neither high chairs nor booster seats are available.

Delicious dinner- enjoyed the eggplant w pearl couscous as an app + duck breast as my second course. Yummy! And, finished the meal with a divine slice of pecan pie (carmel sauce on the side, otherwise it’s too sweet for my liking).

Chef Warren's has the best food in the area. Warren and wife Marianne always make us feel comfortable and welcome. We like to sit at the bar where we can watch the chefs prepare the food, and we can chat with them. Wonderful menu that has daily changes.

Fantastic Dining Experience in every way - great drinks, delicious food, and perfect service from our server, Emily. We were celebrating an anniversary and were seated immediately at our centrally located table. We were welcomed with a little background of the restaurant, the chef, and their unique menu. The kind woman who seated us even sprinkled some celebration confetti on the center of our table to recognize our special day. Four of us shared the kangaroo appetizer - yes, kangaroo. Incredible. We shared the escargot too - also delicious with warm rolls to soak up the garlic butter sauce. We each had great meals as well - the filet medallions, mahi mahi, and scallops and shrimp - all perfectly prepared. All agreed that Chef Warren delivered the best meal we have enjoyed in quite some time - Highly recommend!

Wonderful food for a special occasion; very expensive for ‘smallish’ sized entrees. Both my wife and I were hungry after splitting an appetizer, having the special duck entree each and sharing dessert. Incredible server, Emily.

Chef Warren’s is one of the best restaurants in Moore County. The food is incredible and they have the friendliest servers. A must go to restaurant! We always try new dishes and are never disappointed.

Our anniversary was mentioned when making the reservation for dinner. It seems all the staff knew and congratulated us during our visit - wow :). Our server was excellent ! The food was excellent except the duck was just ok. The featured chestnut soup was “earthy”; my husband liked it but I didn’t. Our bill (for 2) was $205 with a 20% tip ; this is a place reserved for our special occasions.

Another excellent visit to Chef Warren's. We went for Valentine's Day as well as our 40th anniversary. Emily (our server) was great - knowledgeable, friendly and very attentive. We had the prosciutto wrapped kangaroo, bison short ribs, and steak and frites finished off with the pecan pie and a very nice Dow's tawny port. The food and service were both exceptional and made for a very nice and relaxing experience (as usual). We will definitely be back.

The food was not that great. One steak was excellent the other steak was tough. Onion soup is usually a favorite thing to order. Theirs was not that great.

This was my first trip to Chef Warren’s though I have been wanting to go for 20 years. My husband and I finally went to celebrate a special occasion with friends. We loved the ambience and the friendly greetings from the host and all of the servers. I personally loved that there were so many seafood options, including a nice seafood special as I have an allergy to red meat. The tomato fennel soup was also lovely.
