I expected a bigger menu and much better dishes. The appetizers were small with small pieces of naan. You had to pay for extra. The sauces were in tiny steel ramekins- not enough to share. One appetizer was soggy French Fries covered in an unknown cheese topping- our group of 4 ate about 1/3 of it- not good. Our dishes were surprisingly dull, small and forgettable. Shocking, with all the hype as a celeb chef is the owner. The interior is fun and eclectic, with awesome booths seating 6 comfortably. Our waitress was excellent- very attentive, fun and top-notch. Wine list was good, and crafted cocktails were offered. The restaurant was packed and the waitress explained if not for the coronavirus fears, there would be an extended wait. Not sure if these were tourists, but unless food gets better, locals won’t come back. Glad I tried it, but way too expensive for the amount and quality of dishes. I hope they get better because I love Indian food and if I saw updated, positive reviews- might give another try, but doubtful.

Best Indian cuisine in the country in my opinion. Rasika in DC is great too but this is better. Perfect every time I have been!

Indian Fusion. Very expensive for what you get. The food was good, but way overpriced. We were there for lunch. 2 entrees, naan (1st Indian restaurant I've been to that charges for it), 2 beers ($16 each!) , and 2 donut holes (not 2 orders -2 donut holes), and our bill with tip was over $100.00. Lunch NOT Dinner

I love Chauhan. Amazing food. Great service. Very cool ambiance. The dishes are huge and a great value for the price, hard to find in upscale dining. I always take home a to go box. The signature cocktails are good too. Great for date night or a group. I’ve been eating here for many years. The only critique I have is they recently started charging $10 for valet parking, which you have to pay directly to the valet, at the end of your meal, credit card only. Which meant I had to stand in the rain while he used the card reader on his phone, while half a dozen people lined up behind me, also standing in rain, waiting their turn to pay $10 for the valet. I’m fine with paying but like can you just add it to my dinner tab or something? Or take cash? Anyway I hate to complain because it’s a great restaurant.

Food is always amazing. Service is always great starting with the valet, thru the front desk and the wait staff. It did get really noisy the longer we were there but we definitely contributed to that!
