   I brought a friend who was visiting from Arizona to Chateau Morrisette because in the past it was always a great experience. We enjoyed the music in the pavilion and the wine. We had reservations at 4pm in the restaurant. We were greeted by a very friendly and professional host. We were quickly shown to our outdoor table and really enjoyed the view. Our waiter was Eli and he was very friendly and professional, especially considering it was his 2nd day on the job. He explained about the items that were sold out and brought us very tasty bread. The only complaint we had for Eli was that he did ask what we wanted to drink. We were both satisfied with the water, so it was a minor concern. We ordered crab cakes as an appetizer and they were very good. We both ordered wedge salads that were fresh and tasty. My friend ordered the salmon and I ordered the ribeye. I was disappointed about the menu because the online menu had Osso Bucco and that was not on the menu we were presented. The ribeye I had was perfectly season and cooked. The twice baked potato was good, but the spinach was so salty it was inedible. My friend had the salmon, which was cooked properly, but overly salty. I really wish I had a better review for this restaurant, because I have always had great food and service there, but this visit was underwhelming. I was also disappointed to learn that the restaurant does not do the Easter brunch anymore, as that was always a favorite of ours.

   Always a great experience at Chateau Morrisette! My family and I have been visiting for at least 20 years. We have always had great food and wine each visit. This visit we were there to celebrate Mother’s Day and my birthday. It was a great day!

   We arrived 15 minutes early, but were told to take a seat and they would call us when it was 115.. It got very crowded and people were waiting in line at the host stand and no one was there to check them in. Then people came in later than us and were seated before us… 2 couples. Had to fly down a server and tell him what happened… it was close to 130 by then …He said their positions as server and host switched, but then seated us right away. After that, things got better as far as service was concerned. We are guessing there is a staffing issue? I have been coming here since 1987, and the whole structure of the restaurant is not the same .

   The food was mediocre at best, overcooked pasta, overly seasoned and salted, the chicken looked and tasted like something you buy and warm up. Not fresh. The bread was inedible and the little cup of butter-like substance was disgusting. We were so disappointed. The waiter was slow and inattentive. He disappeared and we had to ask twice for our bill. This was a different place before COVID. Sad.

   My husband and I dined here during our 10 year Anniversary getaway. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting and we loved dining with Blue! Love that he is allowed to come and go through the restaurant. Robert waited on us and he was absolutely fantastic! He helped answer any questions and was such a delight. Thank you for being a part of our 10 year wedding celebration. It was a delicious experience! And to those trying to order the Brussels sprouts after us, my apologies. We got the last order of the day and they were sooo good! We look forward to returning.

    My birthday dinner and it was wonderful. My wife and have our anniversary next month and we're planning on coming back to celebrate it at Chateau Morrisette. Thank you.
