Best crab cakes, steaks and service I’ve ever had bar none. Makes Ruth’s Chris look like complete novices. Pricey, yet worth every hard earned cent I paid.

I was seriously disappointed with the service and food. Please realize I am basing this review on a restaurant that we have eaten at before, that is nationally rated as a top 10 steak house, and has a price tag to verify its eliteness.
Service:
Very friendly and attentive
However, delivery of our order was incomplete and in error
Quality:
Kobe steak was no different in taste or presentation than the lesser priced rib-eye
Rib-eye was complete with enough grizzle to reinforce the golden gate bridge - 25% of the steak was chewed and placed back on the plate due to the fact I refused to swallow that much grizzle (gross to say the least)
The steaks were nothing compared to the ones we had a year ago as we celebrated the same birthdays both times.

Really should have a dress code of some sort. Group next to us in swimsuits, if I wanted to see sloppy tourists I would go to Longhorn.

Firstly I cannot fault the food, charleys serves the best steaks I have ever had and cooked perfectly. However I was quite disappointed with the service on this visit.

On arrival the lady at the desk took details of our booking then just ignored us. No indication of how long our table would be or where we should wait she just muttered something to her colleague then left us standing in reception like a pair of lemons for a few minutes until her colleague came back to seat us.

Our drinks took a long time to arrive even the waitress walked past and looked surprised they hadn't come and then our accompaniments didn't arrive with our steaks we had to ask for them to be brought out.

The food was amazing and I wouldn't visit Orlando without a meal here but if the welcome and service is this poor next time I won't be tipping the suggested amount it will be what I think it was worth. When you pay nearly $200 for a meal I think you should be able to expect good service.

Started off with a nice waiter but he had two other big tables with 6-10 people each. My wife and I were by ourselves. From the start we felt like we were getting waited on when he had a break between the other two large tables. Totally skipped the tray of meat presentation and just wanted us to order quickly. My steak was ordered medium. It was the bone in Angus Ribeye. It was cooked medium well. Barely any pink anywhere except the very center. They took that steak back and 10-15 minutes later brought another cooked just like the first one. Not medium. Not even close. At least they brought me hot side dishes to eat with the new steak. The waiter told me the Manager had taken the steak off the bill. Then came back to say he was mistaken and we would be paying for the steak. This was my worst experience at Charlie’s Steak House ever. I brought clients their earlier in the week and spent over $600. Everything was great the first time.

Business meeting for three. Two of us split the New York Strip and the other had the petite filet. Steaks were done to our liking, taste was good, quality was good. The New York Strip seemed quite small for the price, but I suppose prices are what they are for an I-Drive restaurant.

Charley's is our special night out go-to place for celebrating, entertaining or just a wonderful night out. The service from the bar to the wait staff is always excellent and guests are treated like friends. The food is always outstanding and the steaks without peer. We love it.

I have eaten at Charley's a few times in the past. So, my level of expectations has been set by previous visits. Three of our ten diners were unimpressed by the quality (gristle or toughness) of the meat. We had the bison ribeye and the beef rib eye. The steaks were done to the required temperature but all of us were surprised by the quality of the meat. One of the beef ribeye customers said their steak was tender. All filet customers were impressed.
Too many other good options in the area.

Very disappointed that they took T-Bone off the menu, was the only reason I went. Also everything went up a good $10. Would have been fine with that except no T-Bone. Have been going there for about 15 years and this may be m last time. Other than that service is always exceptional.

Great meal, steaks & fish all wonderful except one porterhouse that was unbelievably poor for such a great restaurant.

Should have been eliminated by master chef. However they deducted all the money for it but still spoilt our sons evening

Our experience at Charley's was a positive one for the most part. My fiance and I had reservations for new years eve, and the restaurant was very crowded. The free valet out front was nice, but the staff there seemed overwhelmed. It took about 20 minutes from our check-in to be seated. The cuts of beef, wine list, and cocktail menu are the clear standouts here. All of the food and drink was fantastic. That said, our server left something to be desired. (The meal took about 3 hours, mostly because of the inattentiveness of the server.)

Everything was good . The grilled Cesar salad wasn’t grilled it was just a typical Cesar . The ice cream was grocery store quality . They advertise the North Atlantic salmon as wild caught but it was certainly farm raised . All in all the food was very good and the service was outstanding as always .

New Years Eve dinner with teenagers. Thankfully Charlie’s did not have a prixe fixe menu where they make you pay a premium for a holiday meal. Excellent service & waiters very professional & knowledgeable. Everyone enjoyed their meals but a few of us were not used to that hickory smoked flavor so we didn’t care for that taste. Definitely must go & try it!

It's unusual for everything about a dinner to be spot on but Charley's nailed our evening out and on NYE. The lobster bisque starter was the best we've ever had perfectly flavored, rich, smooth, lots of lobster meat! She had the bone in filet and I had the Bison both were cooked and served perfectly. The bison is a slightly sweeter taste than a traditional steak and something you should try. We enjoyed a great wine by Joseph Phelps at what is the expected restaurant markup. Service and details like chilled salad plates were perfect.

This restaurant was exactly what we were looking for! We had an amazing meal. Nothing felt rushed. We were given ample amount of time to enjoy each course. The waiter was so nice. The manager swept the floor a few times and checked in with all of the customers. If something was wrong he would take care of it immediately!
