    In my opinion, Charley G's is the home for fine dinning in Lafayette and as a result it is one of our 'go to' places for special events. The food is always of such high quality and the service is fantastic. They always make you feel comfortable and well taken care of at Charley G's. Do know that if you're dinning, they do not rush you. They welcome you to spend the next 90-minutes enjoying your meal and company. I respect that.

    We ordered wine and an Old Fashioned. Mini Crab Cakes, smoked duck and andouille gumbo, the fire grilled tuna, braised pork cheeks and coffee. This was my first visit after living in Acadiana over 20 years. I must say my experience was on the same level as every review I had heard over the years. The food was exceptional especially the pork cheeks and gumbo. Service was excellent. The wine my friend ordered was unavailable and the waiter made an excellent secondary choice. We had a funny laugh with the waiter. I already had in my mind the pork cheeks but when the waiter was talking about the special for tonight, he was talking about Sheephead (not sheep head)😉I was like wow I might try that but not tonight, thinking about them rolling out a full sheep head on a serving cart. Anyway at the end he was talking about the fillets, and started laughing. He looked at me funny and I explained my thought process, we had a good laugh. Anyway we had a great evening. Worth every dime for an exceptional meal, start to finish.

    We were a party of four with 6 PM dinner reservations. The food itself was wonderful. Everything that we ordered from appetizers through dessert was delicious. The problem was the absence of the head server, as well as the timeliness of some of the items that were ordered, they were actually delivered after the meal. This was addressed with the manager. I would like to say that our server assistant Casey was amazing and was on top of everything. We found out upon talking to the manager that she was new. We look forward to returning and asking her to be our server.

    Charley G’s was a wonderful place to celebrate our anniversary! The server and the staff acknowledged our anniversary and were very attentive. We enjoyed great drinks, a delicious appetizer, outstanding entrees and a yummy desert.

    The sea bass and grilled tuna entrees were delicious. Outstanding table service and attention to detail. The atmosphere is amazing

    Charlie G's Food is great but when we look at the dish vs price, it does not make the cut. There are many other restaurants that are not that expensive, but the food is just as good.

    Service was amazing. The wine menu was ok, didn’t care for the ipad feel. Food was good however the homemade pasta missed the mark in texture and taste. Fish dishes were good and steak quality was great.

    Great evening for our 26th Anniversary. Staff was on point, very attentive. Our waitress was Cressie and she was solid. All in all a great evening. Food was out of this world. Great restaurant.
