   We were in town for a visit and wanted a nice place to go out to dinner AND to be able to watch the Elite Eight. Charley G’s met and exceeded our goals. We requested bar seating so we could see the tv. In addition, they had live entertainment. The food was exceptional! Our waitress was knowledgeable and timed her service perfectly.

   I had the greatest dining experience here! I came for the good. But stayed for the ambiance and perfect service. Hady set the tone and we knew this was a place to keep in our rotation! Kresse saved the day, when my tired and cranky toddler wanted plain noodles asap. He went from tears to smiles!

   Everything was it's consistent outstanding quality. Our wish is that the piano playing could be lower, we still had to move in close to hear one another speak or raise our voices to be heard over the music. Love the music just wish it were softer and or lower.

    Service was great. Very misleading- I had a large oarty and was told to pick a ore- fixe menu... which I did... $53 pp. plus tax and service. But they didnt charge like that.... they charged per item ordered.... very very misleading and unfair... we would have ordered a sampling of deserts for the table ... we dont eat desert- but it was included in prix fixe menu! And then they added a $53 credit card fee! Really? Nowhere did it say cash preferred. Just frustrating and embarrassing. When Im arguing about bill with a table of 15 waiting

    I am local to Lafayette. Charlie G’s is by far the best fine dining restaurant in Lafayette. The food is always spectacular, the staff is what you would expect from a fine dining restaurant. They always make sure you are enjoying your evening. The ambience is set by the live piano playing in the background seven nights a week. This restaurant is great for business, celebration, date night and visiting with family and friends. Reservations are recommended but if needed you can usually sit at the bar to have dinner with no reservation.

    My favorite Valentine venue. They don’t alter the menu to get the volume served. Same outstanding menu as always. As busy at it was, the staff was exceptional. Top restaurant in Lafayette.

    My meal was absolutely delicious. I had the swordfish with crawfish. The service was excellent. My husband also enjoyed his meal of lobster and steak. The service was excellent and we enjoyed the music and the atmosphere. We were celebrating my husband's retirement of 41 years and picked the perfect spot to celebrate. thank you for a very enjoyable evening.

    The oyster appetizer was fabulous. We were lucky to get the last one. I would have liked it as an entry!! Our compliments to Holly! I had the market catch which was just as delicious! Service was great and the atmosphere was relaxing. Most enjoyable evening with family.

    Jared was absolutely awesome!! We celebrated my husband’s birthday and there was confetti and a birthday card that was signed by all the staff on our table! The food was simply delicious and fulfilling. We will most definitely be back.

    We were greeted as we arrived and were seated promptly at our reserved time. Conner and Josh attended to our every need and question as we ordered drinks, starters and entrees. My Manhattan was well constructed and delicious. My wife had a Rittenhouse rye straight up. She then enjoyed a salad and grilled scallop. My petit filet was done medium rare over mesquite smoke and very tender. We split sides of cheesy polenta and grilled asparagus and enjoyed both. We were too full to be tempted by the dessert menu so we paid our bill which was quite reasonable for the food and experience we have come to love at Charley G’s. All in all, easy to recommend this restaurant as one of the best in Lafayette.

    Staff and food was great! Most restaurants are to noisy for me when you want to have a dinner conversation. The piano player music is at a comfortable level to enjoy and still have a conversation with family and friends. Atmosphere was great!
