I was excited to return to S&S, as I came in 2019 and had an amazing experience. The food quality and presentation of food was definitely not the same. I was disappointed in the experience. The servers were very friendly and made up for the food not being up to par with what it had been in the past. Suggestion— get away from all the plastic and return to valuing the presentation! It makes a huge difference.

Avoid the urge to go. Food was awful. Bread w the oysters was stale and toasted which didn’t help. Crawfish pie was supposedly the best dish on the menu and appeared microwaved. Sauce drowning it was a gloppy mess. There is a reason the place was dead empty. Also as an aside. They said they don’t really use open table and don’t check it for reservations usually

The Crawfish was seasoned well, but I never had that many bad crawfish in an order before the corn was either overcooked or old. The staff was wonderful, polite and friendly.

Food was good, classic Cajun with several more upscale options yet was also well priced. I had TWO groups on TWO different nights. We had reservations at a jazz club, so getting prompt service was critical and the kitchen did not disappoint. Everyone raved about the oysters, crawfish pie, Crawfish boil platter and the red beans and rice with andouille sausage.

I only feel it fair to rate the food middle of the line as we did not stay. The table was filthy, the menus covered in spilt drink and the smell from the toilet was too overpowering to consider eating there. The people in there was very loud and not very polite. The staff were fine.

I am highly allergic to shrimp so I ordered a veggie pasta. After eating over half of the meal I see what I thought was carrots was actually small shrimp. They said the most they could do was take it off the bill. They didn’t even ask if I would physically be okay. Just sent me out the door. Please be very careful dining here especially if you have allergies

The food was our least favorite part of the dining experience. We had the jambalaya and it was really bland and the rice looked and tasted burnt. Also the hamburger just wasn't up to par. Another one of us ordered a po boy but was told they don't carry tartar sauce. FYI you do need a reservation to eat here so heads up.

Saints and Sinners is a restaurant that turns into a club at 10pm. We were having our valentine’s day dinner here and at about 9pm, the employees began to take chairs and tables up. One of the employees mentioned, in a rude manner, they were waiting on us to leave so they could do their job. The food was just okay with me getting a basic burger and my wife getting what ended up just being shrimp on top of cheese grits.

We were so excited for this! But sadly it was a HUGE disappointment. Their signature drinks that supposedly come in a collectible Saints and Sinners Cup, did not. Was just a clear plastic cup. The mozzarella sticks were false advertising at its best. They were traumatizing, ha. My friend and I both got a hamburger and had them both removed from our check because whatever it was, it was NOT from a cow. Never would go back.

Hostess was super nice. Our waitress could have been a little nicer but oh well. Restrooms were clean and unisex. Fried mac and cheese came out fast and was very tasty. Nice atmosphere and the red beans and rice were just fine. Didn't really care for the bread pudding. They were having a craw fish boil out front and since it was Mardi gras they were selling bags of beads to throw from balcony.

Totally disappointing. We went on a busy, French quarter Sunday. This place was completely dead. Still, the service was a struggle. Sticky menus, wobbly table, totally uninspiring food. Someone spent a lot of money on Interior Design It is sort of “stripper chic“. Do not waste your time.

So the website is HIGHLY misleading.. it makes it appear to be an upscale restaurant. It’s a BAR to be clear. There are maybe 6 tables in the back. Three things we ordered were very good. The grilled oysters ,the crawfish etouffee, and the beignet fries with ice cream. Everything else was just ok. It’s also weird that you can even make a reservation here but they do require it. It is a quick easy place to get a meal. Nothing fancy

I am aware that Restaurants in the FQ have very limited space. Therefore I did expect the washrooms to be on the smaller side. However I was not expecting the washrooms to be in such poor state of repair and filth. I am pleased to know that S&S is contributing to the community. However the state of your washrooms will alone prevent me from returning. I have shared my views with others and posted this review at the request of Open Table. Please do consider revamping the washrooms to be clean, safe and accessible. Thank you kindly.

The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Felt when asked something the genuinely wanted to know. Great food and drink recommendations from staff both bartender David and waitress Jodi. Gave us a bit of history about the place and all the good that they do. Will definitely go back everything was top star and we were treated with such pleasantry. The location and building had the feel of what we were looking for on our visit to the Big Easy. Can’t wait to take my husband and other friends back. Hope David is there to make us our drinks and I look forward to any food Jody recommends it was fantastic.

We asked in our reservation to be seated on the balcony, but when we arrived, we were told the balcony was not open. The dining area is small and there didn’t appear to be any wait staff. The bartender was our server. Consequently, he was pretty busy and we felt neglected. The food was delicious- we had the gumbo, the Mac n cheese with shrimp and the crawfish pie. All were very yummy. The restaurant becomes a nightclub at 9:00pm.

The food is absolutely wonderful as always. Service was rough, we waited quite a while after being seated for her to notice us (it was not crowded), no waters brought to our table, we wanted to buy more drinks, but our server was never in sight. She tried to make up for it with giving us some kind of VIP tickets. Again, food is very good.

This restaurant is over rated because of the Channing Tatum name. The food was just average, nothing to write home about. I won't say that I'll never go back, but there are other places that have better food for the price point. We also had to ask for drink refills and it was not clear if we were to pay the waitress or pay at the bar. She left our ticket on the table and just walked away without saying anything. While we were there, a group of 10 came in and sat right beside us. OMG were they LOUD!!! I'm not sure how management could have handled this, but it was really disturbing for everyone that was sitting around them.

Not worthy of Tatums name, looks like every other place on Bourbon street, Made reservations long time ago but they decided to have a Sunday mass on Monday??? So we could not go upstairs and eat on the balcony. It was done because of a football game that was on Sunday, so in my opinion a bit hyphocritical. Food was ok, service not the best. When was asked if we could get new souvenirs cups because we were dressed nice for the occasion and did not want to get drops of the drinks on our clothes they Said we had to buy new ones. But did offer to rinse them out, so after we paid i had to remind them of the conversation to rinse them out, even after that the cups were still dirty and had a bit of the drink in them.

This place did not live up to the hype. The decor was awful. Dinning room was tiny. My $9 Caesar salad was some leaves with a little Parmesan in a dry taco bowl? MUCH better places to eat in NOLA. If you're there for a drink, I wasn't impressed with my hurricane either. Just go somewhere else. Don't waste your time.

Food was good, staff were not ready for us, but kept us updated until the table was ready. It may have been because we were a late sitting close to the crossover to it becoming a club, but we did feel rushed out, the bill was brought to us before we’d finished our meals, and we weren’t offered a dessert menu.

The food was terrible and came out cold and did not taste good. The service was extremely slow and lacking. The bathrooms are disgusting. The restaurant itself smelled bad which I guess is because it turns in to a bad at night and it was a bit rundown. The wallpaper was torn and it just overall looked like there is not much maintenance done to upkeep the restaurant
