See you there!
Great service, food is fabulous and view is breathtaking
Chain Hotel food. Chain Hotel prices.
Chain Hotel guests overrunning the property.
Dropped $120 on dinner for two next to screaming kids and soggy tortilla chips.
I’ve been wanting to go since I started following on instagram! First time visit we a great experience, amazing sunset and good food. Date night redo!
Service (server) was awesome. Food is always the best.
Enjoyed our dinner .Husband had Mahi mahi tacos and I had the Shrimp and lobster tacos. He said the fish was very light and flakey. Great portion size. We had excellent service and enjoyed the sunset.
The food was ok, service was very good. Especially like that your staff remembered to give me a quiet table to conduct business.
This was our first visit to Chandler’s. Eating outside enjoying the ocean and the sunset was just lovely compared to inside seating. Inside seating has the feeling more like a coffee shop.
We had the salmon which was served over Parmesan risotto with fresh asparagus topped with bacon. Everything was perfectly prepared. We will definitely visit again.
Food and service were very good. The citrus beet salad was amazing!!!
Great views of the beautiful California coast and sunset. Ask for a patio table and arrive 30-45 minutes before the sunset time. Great service and interesting menu!
Ambiance truly made the night. Service was great. Food just okay honestly. We had the fish tacos and the lobster shrimp tacos. Margarita was amazing.
Amazing sunset view, good food!
We went back to Chandler’s after not having been in a while. We ate outside on the patio and the view is fantastic. Our server (Wendy) was attentive and very friendly without being obtrusive. We ordered salads and the seared ahi, clam chowder and the short rib dinners. All was delicious and cooked just right. Only beef is the corkage policy and prices. Their wine list isn’t extraordinary. But we had a very good time and would definitely go back.
Nice views of the ocean, and a pleasantly diverse wine list, with a smattering of dining options. The shrimp were great, but the ribe-eye underwhelming. Overall a good restaurant.
this place always makes us feel like we are family...
Amazing food and great place to watch the sunset over the ocean!
We went for a pre-anniversary glass of wine and appetizers, the server was excellent, wine and appetizers delicious. My only comment, we asked the hostess if we could sit at the table closest to the glass barrier so we could see the ocean and she said "I think it is reserved". We were there for an hour and a half and no one was ever seated at that table. That is poor customer service, they were not booked and it was a Monday night.
Went for our anniversary. It was the perfect place. We sat on the terrace which is quiet and more intimate then inside. The staff was attentive but not bothersome. Our order was taken and delivered in a very timely manner. The view of the ocean was visible from just about every table. There was an outdoor firepit sitting area on the terrace and the end of the serving area where we were able to finish our drinks and linger around enjoying the view and quiet conversation.
Good food and service. Have to pay to park which does not really seem right when paying for dinner.
The restaurant was very loud and some of the patrons very distracting. There was a couple at the bar all over each other (and nobody needs to see that while they are eating) and guys with swim trunks and no shirts kept coming in to order at the bar (probably from the hotel pool next door). It definitely brought the "upscale" description of the atmosphere way down. Our server was great and the food was good. Not a huge menu or cocktail list but I'd say sufficient.
My wife and I were very disappointed. They advertised Oysters on the half shell and a view of the Ocean. They had neither. It was very noisy and the dining room was like a cafeteria...for the price of food (Which was average at best) and being a Diamond Hilton member I expected more. I'll never eat here again. Tim
Beautiful ocean view, great patio dining, service was very good, dinner scallops excellent and shrimp appetizer delicious. Beet salad needed a little greens. Martinis were so good and different with elderflower.
Very pleasant dining experience. Service was great. It was our anniversary and we enjoyed it.
The service was horrible for my husband and I along with the one other party on our section of the patio. I had called to confirm our reservation and request for an ocean view about an hour before arriving, they said an ocean view would be absolutely no problem. But when we were sat on a small side patio, we were told there was nothing ocean view available and wouldn't be for the rest of the evening... Our appetizer was delivered before our drinks. I ordered a Sprite and my husband ordered a beer on tap which sat waiting for a good 10-15 minutes. Our waitress told us they were changing the keg, which was definitely a lie. We could see the bar and his beer from where we were sitting. Maybe because the restaurant was in a hotel, they have a turn and burn mentality but we were in no hurry and had to remind our waitress of that twice. The food was just OK for the price. But really, it was the service that killed it. I had also noted that we were celebrating our 5 year anniversary + babymoon in our reservation. It wasn't brought up at all, so why even ask if your guests are choosing your restaurant to celebrate anything? Won't be recommending or going back.
Great! Myself, sister-in-law and mother-in-law were all visiting and came here for dinner for our girls night out while the husbands stayed with the kids! Perfect night!
Great atmosphere, great service, and delicious food. We had a wonderful experience. we shall return.
First time we ate at this restaurant and even though the reviews were hit or miss, my husband and I enjoyed our meal. Our waitress Alondra was awesome. The cocktails could be better but overall experience was great.
This was our first visit and I was disappointed. It's a very noisy, expensive restaurant. It was a very hot day, so we sat inside and found it hard to talk to the other couple we were with. Most of the main dishes were in the 40 dollar range. We had Cobb salads, and they were fine, but not outstanding.
Beautiful view, except we had to look out from behind this large “range hood” over the fire pit. Service: waitress was not friendly at all. Clearly not happy to be at her job. Couldn’t even crack a fake smile. After we were seated nobody even acknowledged us until I made a comment as the restaurant manager walked by. The first person to acknowledge us was the “bus boy” who actually was friendly and helpful and took care of us. Too bad, the wait staff can really make or break a place. They are breaking this one.
The restaurant was very loud, it took our server several minutes to acknowledge us and take our drink order. Husband & son had a bowl of clam chowder, they had it was fair. Husband's salmon was overcooked and bland. My fish tacos were not very flavorful but had 3 hige pieces of fish in each. Probably would not reccomend for anything other than casual lunch.
My dinner was very good, I had the seared scallops. However, my husbands meal was just okay. The waiter was attentive and friendly, however, it took way too long to receive our food and drinks.
This place has had its ups and downs over the years. Right now it seems to be on the up. Good place locals can walk to. Not cheap for what you get, but you have to remember it’s in a hotel. Better than average hotel restaurant food. Worth the short walk over 2 or 3 times a year.
We were the only people in the restaurant and the music was waaaay too loud. Service was meh.
Very nice place and our server was very nice. However, we waited at least 45 minutes for poke, Ceasar salad and a bowl of clam chowder. None of which had to be cooked. I was disappointed :(. The view was beautiful though, that made up for it.
Service was terrible! Food was just okay, definitely not great or worth the price point. I would NOT recommend eating here & I will NOT be returning!
Service lousy, really, really bad from the start to the end. Too bad for such a nice place otherwise.
The lavendar blueberry cheesecake was worth the calories. Fabulous!
The calamari tasted fishy. The batter flavor was great, but ive definitely had fresher tasting calamari.
It was my 55th Birthday on Friday, June 15. I was looking up restaurants for weeks. We saw mixed reviews of Chandlers, so I was nervous...however the menu seen online won me over. It was loud, but go my ocean view seat. We, my husband, Sons and I. Our server was Tyler, and he was awesome! Took note of my seafood allergy, and was so great, informative and gracious. Excellent service, and amazing food. I even learned how to say charcuteri, lol. I'll go back, worth the cost!!!
I had a fantastic lunch at Chandler's. My Cobb salad with prawns was the best I've ever had. The service was excellent and the ocean view was perfect. I can't wait to go back!
