   Fabulous dinner. Cocktails were perfect. Sushi appetizer was delicious. I was tempted to lick the curry sauce off my entree plate. Our server was so pleasant and helpful. This was our second time at Chandler’s, and we hope to go every time we are in Petoskey!

   Food was great as usual, unfortunately our server forgot about us after we got our salads. Then forgot about us again after we ordered deserts. Not typical service for Chandlers ☹️

   Over the years, Chandler's has been known for their outstanding food, service, atmosphere and overall quality. They had established a reputation for being fine dining and we have always highly recommended them to everyone. Our recent experience suggests otherwise. -Atmosphere and location are still excellent! -Service was so so. Our server was pleasant, but not personable or engaging. There were a couple of mistakes regarding our food and beverage order. Our dirty dishes kept piling up at the end of the table with a long wait and little resolve to clear. One of our water glasses had lipstick on it. Attentiveness to our needs and attention to detail was lacking. -The food quality compared to what we have been used to, was poor. Lacking in flavor, presentation, and over all quality. We have had better dining experiences and food quality at low end chain restaurants. -Price point was a little high considering the service and food quality we received as well as the reputation Chandler's is known for. -The online reservation platform was very user friendly and convenient, however, it asked if we were celebrating anything special. We said yes. Not one person at Chandler's inquired or commented on our special occasion. Over all we were disappointed, but still enjoyed our time celebrating our special occasion. Chandler's, we know you can do better and we have not written you off.

   We made reservations at Chandlers as we were celebrating a birthday and another couples anniversary. When I made the reservation, my only request was NOT to be seated by the door. When we got there, our table was by the door! Unbelievable! Of course the food and service was Amazing, but being seated by the door was offputting.

   Caroline was great, an exceptional server. We like the cellar but wish there was more options for two tops other than being squeezed into the tiny back area two feet from the other table. Understand lack of space but would be nice to give us a more private table especially if we reserve ahead. Otherwise, we like chandlers and come often

    Surprise birthday dinner was excellent! Paul Parrot was a great server. It was nice to reconnect with the staff after several years. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal.

    Wow amazing! Best service ever! I love it there! Travis was the best server I have ever had! Food was so good wine was fantastic! Travis was amazing knowing what glass of wine I would like. Best dinner ever ! Will do again! Amazing! Thank you so much Travis you made our night!

    Valentine Day celebration with friends. We have been to Chandlers numerous times but our friends experience was the first. They loved all! Kim our server was friendly, talkative, answered all our questions and checked back the appropriate amount of times. We enjoyed her lots. Our food was delicious. Halibut and risotto was a winner, pork shank fall off the board good, the filet steak was good but not great as our friend said the Halibut is great my steak is just good. Our table choice ended up in the wine cellar, and we all enjoyed that atmosphere. We only ran into one problem. Our friends ordered a bottle of wine, with three glasses. With one extra glass for me to try the wine. I neither knew the cost of the bottle of wine, or that we were sharing the cost? Kim never approached the table with a question about who’s bill to put it on, and since our friends ordered and drank most of it I was surprised to learn from my husband once home that we paid $27 + tip towards the wine. But in the end we paid for some wine? Since I didn’t know the cost of the bottle of wine, and since my husband didn’t question the $27 wine charge with Kim or our friends at the table we really don’t know what happened? The text communication between our friends last night when I started to question the wine charge were like did you have a wine charge on your bill? I didn’t ask how much they paid or what really happened and probably will never know. But I can say this is not the type of problem I would have expected from Chandler’s. But it’s certainly a disappointment.

    Took 1hour 40 mins start to finish for dinner. Not impressed with the food, frankly a place less than a mile away blew this meal out of the water.

    The food is always amazing, as is the service! The ambiance in the wine cellar makes for a very enjoyable meal, great for bigger groups. Always recommend Chandler’s!

    Chandler’s is phenomenal, a true Northern Michigan staple. The quality of each ingredient is noticed as is the care put into each dish. The hospitality is top notch and the atmosphere is comfortable and cozy. A trip to Petoskey wouldn’t be complete without dinner at Chandler’s, truly a wonderful representation of quality and sophistication.

    My husband enjoyed the halibut risotto. It was fantastic! I ordered the duck breast with spatzel. It was delicious but the skin was chewy and could have been rendered fully. We also shared a Winter Harvest salad which was delicious. The dressing was tangy and very tasty. The crème brûlée was outstanding! They used real vanilla bean! 😋 Definitely one of our favorites!

    A Petoskey Favorite! Chandler's was in rare form Saturday night - friends and couples enjoying themselves to the fullest! Last visit was a lot quieter - but it really does depend on the voice volume of your neighboring tables. This night was noisy - bordering on obnoxious - but not quite enough to ask for a table change (which would have been difficult since the place looked pretty booked!) Bring your patience and laugh it off - unless you're looking for a romantic evening. Our server, Diane, was wonderful delivering some of our delicious food decisions!

    The young man who waited on us was great. The soup was excellent, the bolognese was AWFUL, the table was lousy. We’ve been going to Chandlers for years. It ain’t what it used to be.

    We have eaten at Chandlers many times and never before were we assessed a "service" fee for use of a credit card (Ax Platinum). This is such a cheap shot on behalf of the management team. If ya really need an extra 4 bucks add a buck to a few entrees or drinks or don't apply the charge to bills over XXXX?. This is just insulting. From now on we are going to Spring and Porter for fine dining.
