El restaurante Chandler abrió sus puertas en diciembre de 1999 detrás del edificio histórico de Symons General Store. Es un lugar acogedor, con sólo 50 lugares en el comedor principal y 10 en el bar. Cuando los lugares son muy difíciles de encontrar, el salón es sólo para parados. Los comensales pueden disfrutar de una cena donde están rodeados de una bodega con una colección 4000 botellas de vino que sirven el restaurante y el Symons General Store. En los meses más cálidos, los comensales pueden optar por cenar afuera, en la terraza de ladrillos de Chandler.

Chandler’s has been our Best of Class restaurant in Petoskey Harbor Springs for over 30 years. It can be very loud due to hard surfaces. This time the 6 diners next to us got louder and louder as they had more drinks. It made our experience miserable. We won’t come back until off-season.

Kim is a good server- attentive and follows up. The spinach and wedge salads- excellent- halibut, duck, lamb, California role- all divine. We love the Wine Room. Good cocktails and wines! We’ll be back!

A true neighborhood gem, we sat outside in the courtyard for lunch. We shared an amazing salad and sandwich. What a treat! Our server was so good and we thank her for all that she did.

You have to try Chandler's Restaurant. We eat there at least once a year. The service is beyond outstanding.

Pretty restaurant, pleasant attentive server. Food was very expensive and unfortunately not worth it. Three at our table had the lamb and all three thought it was blah, no sauce, no seasoning and no flavor. Another had a salad which was tiny. Two people had the halibut to mixed reviews. The section of the restaurant in which we were seated had one toilet, it was very dirty with used paper towels strewn about. It would be a good idea to have someone check on the bathroom throughout the evening to make sure it's clean and to maybe put a curtain or cover across the bottom of the sink to cover what's stored below and to contain the garbage. Overall, disappointing overpriced restaurant. I feel badly saying this, but would not recommend.
