Chandler’s opened it’s doors in December of 1999 behind the historical Symons General Store building. It’s a cozy place with only 50 seats in the main dining room & 10 seats at the bar. When real estate is too tough to find - it’s standing room only! For a change of scenery, guests can enjoy dining in the wine cellar where they are surrounded by the 4,000 bottle collection that serves both the restaurant and Symons General Store. In the warmer months, guests can choose to dine outside, on Chandler’s brick courtyard.

Another great experience at Chandlers. What a great find several years ago and we just keep going back. Consistently great food selections and the best service.

Another awesome experience at Chandler’s tonight. Dawn was our server and did a great job of taking good care of us, making good recommendations, and taking care of every little detail. It made our dinner amazing. My wife had a duck and I had the salmon And we were both pleased. We shall return.

Early in the summer season here in late April, but the food and the atmosphere are stellar as always. Nice to dine off-season when it’s a little quieter and inside when it’s still a chilly forty degrees outside!

Food, wine, and service were impeccable. Great ambience in the wine cellar. It’s our go-to place to eat in Petoskey.

We had the scallops and they were delicious, as was our friend’s steak. Paul was our server and he was spot on. Really enjoyed our evening.
